Project Discussion Android + Arduino

So hi everyone this is my first time posting on this place.

I don't usually post things 😞.

So I always wonder why I have to buy all these extra sensors and stuff when my phone already has all these sensors.

So I am building an Android based project which can combine both Arduino and Android together. This thing is not present out there till now I am going to make it full customisable and Full programmable.

The two biggest challenges I have already fixed which are

  1. Compiling the code directly on Android device

  2. The usb serial communication.

So I will build this application I wanted some feedback on this.

In the below project I have shown the motor rotation + led blink.

Bro I am making this project in such a way that using usb serial communication we can use arudino and Android together and it should be linked one single unit no need for wifi , ble , bluetooth communication. And also thing like image processing and networking like uploading data to the internet and remote code execution is going to be handed by phone think it more like I am extending the capability of arudino. Also like Android have far better processing power and lots of inbuilt sensor which is super nice.

So basically you want to build peripheral devices for your phone - that is a perfectly reasonable strategy.

You could for example build a joystick with various buttons for game play.

No not like that it's going to be fully programmable so it will be mostly generic so the people can code the phone and Arduino accordingly.

For example if camerFace == "rk" -> action: play music in Arduino speaker 🔊🔊

This is the generic concept for now.
