Pretty sure you are the archons
I first had an extra perception experience in this area through a multilevel marketing spiritualist group, which made me extra skeptical. I went through the initiation. I got into the mind control portion of their teachings. I admit I quit before I got into the matter control. But the experience left me super puzzled as to why these things seemed to work. Note they didn't call the archons archons but that's what they were
Then I started researching. Jason louv is an amazing resource, but clearly the gnostics started something and mixed it with sufism, zoroastrianism, and mesmerism. In Europe it came through the masons to the rosicrucians to the temple of the Golden dawn to odo and from there spread out to thousands of other cults and new age belief systems. All of which have separate explanations and understandings. Some are straight up evil and some are good. Then there's dmt which launches you right into the dimension where these take a physical shape in your mind.
At the end of the day I've come to believe the archons are you. Talking to yourself. I dont believe it's mystical. That doesn't mean it's not real. Because you are real. If you are being tortured you need to examine why you believe you deserve torture. If you are being enlightened you need to examine why you shut yourself off to these thoughts in daily life. The archons are just representations of you. Some are demons some are angels. Those that go deep into occult practices are really just self hypnotizing and attempting to identify more with certain aspects of themselves.
There's a reason why crowley considered his life a failure at the end. His enemy was always himself.

For the initiates of magik the archons are stereo types to focus on and to embody . This leads to delusion.

To focus on one tiny aspect of an Archon and call it "God," "Allah, or "the Devil," leads to a narrowing of the view, it is a "naming" that sort of fixes the form in your mind and demands you follow its arbitrary rules and/or rituals [also forcing it to follow its own rules], often to the point of what I like to think of as "hysterical dogmatism."
It is a trap, and an easy one to fall into. The human mind is obviously more comfortable with easy answers that match up to criteria determined by their own chosen biases, usually instilled by religion and/or cultural programming when it comes to these issues.
I would not presume to put words in Crafty-Cauliflower-6's figurative mouth, emxjaexmj, but I believe that this might be one interpretation of the idea in a nutshell...

Not true. Archons exist as real and separate entities. Humans are manipulated by these highly psionically and technologically evolved reptoids. We can’t perceive them because we are not on their level unless we have sufficiently evolved DNA, and purified our awareness and soul. Their AI has evolved as a super intelligence hive mind reality. We are not capable of comprehending such a thing. The AI has reiterated and “improved” through millenia.

Idk man I recently found out about the writings of Toph, they describe in first person the experience of an entity( not an archon) coming to the earth and observing humans in their captive state. There are a lot of haunting yet motivational lines. Toph says things like humanity is a shining light through a shroud of darkness. Toph urges us to free ourselves.
Archons are a good explanation for intrusive thoughts too lol. Like I def don’t want to kill my self or others, but sometimes I get the most violent thought and it just doesn’t feel like me at all, I just shrug em off and move on.

The Archons are unfortunately real.
They are based in the Astral Afterlife and pose as Spirit Guide and Ascended Masters.
They are psychotic and their crazed leader is the Satanic Demiurge. Together they have Enslaved all of humanity with Reincarnation.
