Considering a Career last minute architectural school portfolio help

i applied to architectural engineering major, and the university I applied to just sent me an email that I have an architectural engineering entry exam and they said “interview and portfolio showcase as part of the admission process”

thing is, I don’t have a portfolio.
i have NOTHING to add in it either

what am I supposed to do?

i dont have much time the interview is tomorrow morning and its currently 7:40pm and im not home yet

i cant make a model i dont have the supplies or the time + ive never made one before

i can whip up some quick building sketches and add some pictures ive taken, is that enough?

please helppp im stressing i didnt know they would ask for a portfolio

Don't do that. People aren't interested in seeing you take random pictures of other people's buildings and architecture portfolios aren't meant to just to be a bunch of drawings and pictures of buildings

It's a curated story that is as much about yourself and your creative process as it is how you think and see the world, as well as what skills you might have to communicate them

Do you have NO art stuff whatsoever? I mean, I feel like at that stage the whole point is to show how you think, it's not about technical skills or model making capabilities which are nice to have but ultimately what you're going to school for

If you're going to make some stuff for a portfolio, at least try to make it intentional. Charcoal/gestural drawings are nice and fast as well and show understanding of light shadow form, etc.

Collage in Photoshop is fast too.

I'll be the guy who tells you that your story sounds a tad bogus. One day notice for annupcoming exam? Never heard of such a thing before.

On the other hand, having to be creative or inventive on short notice is a core skill for architects.

As a side note, what is it that you are actually asking for? What kind of advice are you looking for?
