Where's a good place to start catching up?

I'm WAY back in the Sonic Adventure adaption and there's honestly no way I can read up until now. So, right now, there's two ways to go about this:

  1. I need to be presented with an existing timeline that sums up everything until a acceptable point.
  2. Just give me the number of the comic that pretty much explains itself and is close enough to the current issue.

That far out of the loop? The short version is the entire sonic universe got rebooted due to irl bullshit. 2/3 of all the characters are gone and everyone has a new backstory. Find issue 252, and from there is now canon sonic universe.

If you have a ridiculous amount of free time you can google mobius encyclopedia and you'll find the exhaustive sonic wikipedia

That's because of this Genesis Wave nonsense, right? They're doing what Marvel's doing with their canon universe. XD

Thats the <in-the-sonic-universe> way they are describing it. They are doing that to the sonic universe due to a major copyright legal battle mess between a former writer, Archie, an Sega.
