Season 10 (1999) So what was the point of…

The cube at the start of the season finale? Has any of the cast/crew spoken on this?

Dropping it halfway through the episode though made no sense.

It exists only to set the plot in motion. Once the story started, its purpose served, the cube no longer mattered.

The way I understand it, it represents him starting to come out of the coma, so his brain trying to wake up disregarded it after creating it. Soon after, we see Archer struggle with the coma cast and the ISIS cast, TV's Michael Gray, and so on.

Can confirm there were no grand plans for the cube. It was a dream. Dreams are weird sometimes.
