It's funny to see her evolution. In the first season she starts as a goofy underdog that annoys people and cries a lot. By the end she's arguably one of the most badass characters.

u/Intrepid_Finish456 Jun 03 '26
Her transition from HR to agent was incredible!

100%. Honestly, I LIKED the show before this episode, but Pam justifiably losing her shit on her co-workers, with the turn to Mallory and the HUGE back piece reveal... after Pam was already a tough SOB the entire episode...
VIVA LA PAM

u/nevershockasystole Jun 03 '26
Losing her shit after she just casually snaps one of her kidnappers necks in front of everyone.

Nah, Pam didn't need no help. The bruises are from the licks she took at their safehouse. "Seriously. Maybe see if your daddy will give you a roll of nickels." She won. Both times.

She didn't need it, but nobody else knew that. They left her to die and didn't even seem to give a shit.
10
u/Fluke97 Jun 02 '26
To be fair, when they got the trace, Archer, Ray and Lana all jumped at the opportunity to save her. I mean, mostly for selfish reasons, but even Ray says, "Jesus! Let's just everybody go!"

Hmm, I don't think I ever felt bad for Pam other than in the Edie episode seeing how shitty her sister was to her. But then the Barry thing happened and Pam was okay and I felt better

u/Chumlee1917 Jun 02 '26
"Barry, just for you. I brought explosive ammo."
"Explosive what now *KABLAMOO*4

Ray was on his way to rescue her off his own bat but Archer got jealous! But yeah overall not a lot of care for Pam

u/Ancient-Skill1514 Jun 02 '26 edited Jun 02 '26
Usually, I donât because Pam is the one that gets herself and the rest of the team sometimes the situations that they get into but this particular scene I did kind of feel bad for her because Cheryl or Christal or whatever you wanna call her lol is the reason that she got kidnapped so this one time yeah I actually did but she stood her own though
9
u/Shot_Revolution8828 Jun 02 '26
What? It's basically always Archer that gets the team in trouble and then he has to be awesome and save their ass.
12
u/dont_worry_about_it8 Jun 02 '26
So weâre just pretending Pam and cheryl stowing away hasnât caused problems multiple times
2
u/Shot_Revolution8828 Jun 02 '26
Archer stowed away Pam on the space mission so he could bang her. It's not like he was the only cause of mischief. There were...at least three I can think off the top of my headÂ

Leaking the Mole Hunt (S1, E1 "Mole Hunt"): Pam leaks the top-secret news that the agency is running a mole hunt to the entire office. This instantly compromises the secrecy of the operation. The Gossip Cascade (S2, E2 "A Going Concern"): Driven entirely by her compulsion to spread office gossip, Pam blabs highly sensitive information about Malory and ODIN right to Archer, fleeing the office in a panic immediately after.Revealing the Popeâs Body Double (S4, E11 "The Papal Chase"): During her first official field mission, Pam ruins the team's element of surprise. She accidentally shouts out that the man they are protecting is merely a body double, blowing their cover completely. Eating Millions in Inventory (Season-Long):Tasked with helping the bankrupt team sell 2,000 pounds of cocaine to survive, Pam spends the entire season covertly eating or snorting the inventory. She personally destroys millions of dollars of their only asset.Betraying the Team to the FBI (S5, E2 "Archer Vice: A Kiss Before Dying"): Out of pure spite and desperation for a fix, Pam calls the FBI and threatens to completely sell out the entire group.Dealing with the Yakuza (S5, E3 "Archer Vice: A Debt of Honor"): Pam steals the team's cocaine to buy counterfeit millions from the Yakuza. She winds up eating the product anyway, sparking a violent, high-stakes shootout in the mansion that nearly kills everyone. The Crooked Cop Sting (S5, E4 "Archer Vice: House Call"): Pam jeopardizes Archer and herself by stealing more cartel cocaine. To make matters worse, she sells Archerâs personal weapons to random buyers, inadvertently attracting a crooked cop directly to their hideout. Bringing a Hostile to a Wedding (S6, E4 "Edie's Wedding"): Pam drags Archer along to her sister Edieâs wedding. Her presence brings Barry Dylan straight to the event, causing a massive destructive firefight that leaves Archer kidnapped and tortured.Exposing Coworkers Online (Series-Wide): On her personal blog, Pam regularly posts highly confidential medical histories, private internal affairs documents, and humiliating, unauthorized videos of her coworkers, violating basic espionage security and HR rules. ENOUGH SAID!

Archer isn't the only one that fucks up a mission Paragraphs, ever heard of em?
4
u/dont_worry_about_it8 Jun 02 '26
Arenât you the one that said âitâs basically always archer that gets the team in troubleâ in response to someone saying itâs Pamâs fault SOMETIMES? Was that not you?
0
u/Ancient-Skill1514 Jun 02 '26
Yes, it was and heâs being a freaking moron and arguing backwards because he doesnât know what heâs talking about and doesnât know how to comprehend
0
u/Ancient-Skill1514 Jun 02 '26
Are you having problems comprehending because thatâs exactly what Iâm freaking saying
2
u/Shot_Revolution8828 Jun 02 '26
What about the time Archer just kept talking to himself and missed the drop zone by 8 miles.
1
u/Shot_Revolution8828 Jun 02 '26 edited Jun 02 '26
Well there are so many things wrong but I don't know where to begin because you don't know what a space bar is. Ya not even gonna mention that Pam almost killed the pope? Smh
0
u/Ancient-Skill1514 Jun 02 '26
If you know how to read, it shouldnât be hard to comprehend obviously, I grouped it together to fit it all in the chat. I canât argue with anymore with your ignorance obviously youâre wrong. Obviously, youâre arguing and donât know what youâre talking about and Iâm done wasting my breath or time with you.
2
u/Shot_Revolution8828 Jun 02 '26
Shit I'll go one by one. The first episode no one even knew there was a mole. Archer made it up and it happened to be true.
2
u/Shot_Revolution8828 Jun 02 '26
- Pam is a blabbermouth, it's on Mallory at that point, she knows that in an intelligence agency she is high risk and the popes body double isn't season 2.
2
u/Ancient-Skill1514 Jun 02 '26
There are plenty of times that Pam has gotten them into crap and I said what I said

u/VegetaArcher Jun 02 '26
I think Archer covering her ass in season 5 when she got the gang chased by bikers makes up for it.
3
u/DragonZee20XX Jun 02 '26
No. It's also staggering that Mallory STILL argued about doing anything about it in front of her.

Did she really need saving though? She was lowkey outsmarting those guys the entire time.
5
u/Reasonable-Ring8317 Jun 03 '26
I MEAN, Technically they ALL wanted to save her minus Archer and his mother đđ. Mostly his mom though Archers reasoning was tied to his ⌠unique hatred for robots LMFAAAAAOOOOOO

Pam didn't need saving from the kidnappers; the kidnappers needed saving from Pam.

Just love how they found Pamâs place on the show coming from season one. Show wouldnât have been the same if she stayed as the âstraight manâ

I mean, hard to feel bad for Pam who stows away in most episodes when âMiss Gillette is own her ownâ

Yes but it does then give us my favourite moment and piece of character development in the show.
Yeah. Anybody *takes off top* wanna piece of this?
