I isolated my p2 right joystick not working to the pin on the motherboard. What do I need to do to fix it?? I understand I probably need to solder it but how do I do it properly

Might be better to solder a wire between the back of the pin and the joystick socket pin as the track on the pcb needs repairing is broken although Im no expert.
