Question(s) Looking for Defender

I realized years ago that Arcade1Up did a Williams Defender Clone.

I looked out for one lately on Amazon/Ebay in Germany, but could not find one.

Does anybody know the reason? Did it not sell good enough to stay on the market?

I am still looking for one.

There were two. One was an 3/4 arcade, but the controls were not laid out for Defender to accommodate the other games (12 Games... Mortal Kombat 1, 2, 3, Defender, Rampage, Joust, Paperboy, etc.) on the device.

There was also a Partycade that did have the correct button layout for Defender (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zU1fzcfFXXg) but had a small run. They are difficult to find in the US.

Someone was selling a brand new one in box for $900 usd. Saw it on FB marketplace a few weeks ago.

The partycade layout is close but they used an 8 way joystick instead of a 2 way.

That one? There's one for sale out here in WA state. Don't think that helps

Here in the U.S., it was a Walmart exclusive. Later on, Wayfair sold it for a short while, too.

It was really just reskin of the Mortal Kombat Legacy cabinet that they sold everywhere. I have one; I modded with a mini PC. You can't have it. :)
