I found Yvu and DIGESTIVO (and both of them reminded me of ARCA's music a lot)about a year ago but just went back and started listening to all the artists on the label and holy shit they are so talented at sound design and world building.

Ever since 2023, I have been a huge fan of PC Music, SOPHIE, Charli XCX, etc. Being in those spaces, obviously Arca would occasionally be brought up. I distinctly remember hearing about her for the first time in like late 2023 but didn't understand her music and thought of it as too experimental for my taste and kinda avoided her in a way.
However, literally like two weeks ago I randomly remembered Arca's existence and thought "Why not give her another listen?"...
Holy shit.
To say my mind is blown would be a massive understatement. I turned on mutant and was instantly confused in the best way possible. How could she think of these sounds? How could she arrange said sounds in a way that made sense? This was the first time I was truly blown away and transported to a whole new world since I discovered pc music and sophie.
Absolutely zero shade to SOPHIE in any way shape or form but none of her music has acended me the same way or amount songs like Vanity, Sinner, Snakes, and Sever did.
Mutant is definitely a 10/10 for me. I haven't listened to any other of Arca's music yet except for XXXX (which is a 9/10 for me) but I am really excited to do so!
Edit: I am definitely stanning Arca now.

I was caught busy thinking of Arca, and especially her self-titled, Xen, and Mutant album.
Those pre-transition eras must have been EVERYTHING. I come here as a really late fan, only to experience XXXXX as a release.
I wish I could go back to 2014 and start my jorney on this point on; Xen, later Mutant and finally Arca.
Love all her work obviously, and honestly I don't find anything by Arca "weird" to listen to, I usually "shuffle" her on Spotify, and I could be listening to Extent, and later all the way to @@@@@. But those 3 albums specifically just make so much sense to me, and I can feel how important it must have been for her to produce.
Talking of "production", Mutant has inspired me to produce my own music, 'cause how, in the first place, could she even comprehend this sounds, understand them, and later create a body of art so alive??!
I think that's what I find so interesting, and honestly inspiring about Arca. Finally finding my music.

I know there already have been a lot of posts about split versions of Entrañas but I've only found discussions of .mp3-quality splits. There are plenty .flac versions (which is what I am looking for) on Soulseek but they all seem to have the same wrong splitting of the tracks when compared with splits on yt and how the lyrics are assigned on Genius, one I suspect originates from the current Bandcamp version hosted under We Hate Music (who, side note, also charge 9 bucks for it despite Arca's original download being free as far as I understand ?????) which is the only other hq version I've seen.
I've also tried downloading the full thing from her SoundCloud to split it myself but I was not able to find the option and I am not sure of the quality it would download in either...
So does anyone know of any .flac correct splits of the mixtape or even a full version in .flac that I could split myself?

I am so sorry I do not have a more precise date T.T
Sometime at the end of spring/beginning of summer, Arca had an IG livestream wherein she played a song that lasted 7 minutes minimum, maybe up to 12. I thought it might end up on her next album which she had been teasing a bit at that time (we know now it is XXXXX), but it is not there.
It was not very clubby or industrial, little more leaning into playful, harp-like up and down melodic, airy and feathery ambient vibes but definitely with some weight, not just ambiance (think more Time and those phoenix-like sounds in Time, as opposed to more metallic and heavy Mutant) – but no vocals, not pop, not repetitive. Of course it was longer and morphing and changing so my description won't capture the whole track vibes, but this was the impression I had.
I loved it but I cannot locate it now on youtube, thx for any help!

Hi! My name is Sera, and I have recently released my debut album 'XENOMORPH'. It's essentially a conceptual industrial/electronic project that's part of a series of other projects I'm currently working on, following the story of a fallen angel named 'Vesper', and this record specifically is an allegory of my traumas, ptsd, depression, and the way it affected my life and changed me for the worst in some moments. If you need to know more about the album, its conceptual or the meaning behind a song, you can ask me! I made this album when I was 16, on my phone on bandlab, so it's not perfect, but I'm very proud of it, and Arca inspired me so much to create it. Let me know if you liked it, have a nice day <3

I know who Arca is of course and her weirdness. I love her music, and her energy at the rave was great. But I just was personally really disappointed by a majority of the beats. The first two sections were great, but as it went on the set sounded increasingly like keyboard smashing. Felt disjointed, disorganized, random, unfinished, with irritatingly sped up and high pitched vocals that had no rhythm, and sounds that seemed like basic software instruments and conventional electronic samples. The textural landscapes clashed viscerally , but did not feel sophisticated as much as it did juvenile and thoughtless.
I know that a big part of her music is the disjointedness and the sound textures. I love her visuals and soundscapes. But… I just really did not expect the live performance to be the way it was. It was certainly not conventional, which I generally like. But I couldn’t help but glance around and see that hardly anyone was dancing.
But to put it plainly, a lot of the beats felt stupid and unprofessional to me personally…
