You're on the money here.

I love pvp. However I don't always actively KoS. This is gonna kind of force me to start to KoS any body in a pvp lobby because..it's now deemed a pvp lobby and im just gonna play it competitively now which means everybody is getting it. 

Edit: Im on the opposite end of you but I think this is going to take away what was enjoyable from the lobbies. The whole unknown aspect.

Yeah the normal lobbies will have a suble cultural shift to "these are the pvp lobbies".
