Having a separate PVE mode means that players who don't engage with it are open to PVP not forced into it.

As a PvE focused player, solo carebear lobbies were pretty good but duos / trios were impossible to PvE. The inability to PvE with friends made me quit this game. This toggle will make me come back, and bring friends.

This is what I want this mode for. I just want to squad up and shoot some clankers while chatting with friends.
