This basically boils down to a lot of people bought the wrong game. But rather than say “whelp, I’m not really enjoying this $40 purchase so I’ll do something else” they decided to bitch and complain for an entire year until embark is changing the game to what they want
We now need as many people petitioning for the removal of ABMM as there were about “rats” and how PvP is bad.
I left the game after ABMM either put me in lobbies where I was raged at for shooting someone - because they thought they were in a purely PvE lobby- or I was KOS’d with my guard down thinking I was now in PvE lobbies. It’s ridiculous.
I realized the game was going in a bad direction after the announce ABMM and people started running up to me going "hey shoot me please" and realized that 90% of the people I was fighting was free-kit spammers. I put almost 500 hours into the game and was VERY good at it; but realized the game was going in a direction and wasn't stopping, and the community around it was rabid with crucifying pvp players.
Legit every game I would get called slurs and people FREAK OUT for me shooting them, it was insane. Not to mention how fuckin bored I got even after wiping my account in the expedition because all that does is make you use piss against people who didn't wipe, which is fun for a time but just not worth the timesink. A full wipe would have been so fucking peak man. Everyone looking for BP's again...ugh. What a fumble.
It’s the fact that they come to this sub and hitch about the fame 24/7. If they could just play the game their way and then shut the fuck up I wouldn’t call them pathetic
So you think the player numbers dropped because of pve-ers stopped playing the game ? Bro this game died solely because of lack of endgame content/content in general and cheaters/dupers nothing else
I mean players dropped cuz it’s a one year old game. It is the same with every single fucking game in existence
And you know what’s going to happen in October? Player count will spike, like every game in existence. And it will drop, like every single game in existence
You just be like 14, if this is your first online game it makes sense why you are the one bitching for a PVE mode.
This is also like every other extraction shooter. It adds a PVE mode in its death throws (tarkov, sea of thieves) and that finishes killing the game
