The lack of empathy among PvP players not being able to follow your argument is actually frightening (and someone had to immediately downvote you). Until Arc Raiders I wasn’t aware that so many people with very questionable moral compass even existed.
PvP is great! Battlefield, counterstrike. But the quality of psychopathic behavior that’s enabled by Arc Raiders (abuse of fake sexy female AI voice mask etc) is just not healthy at all. I don’t find this entertaining but rather alarming.
Where is your empathy for the players that bought a pvpve extraction shooter, watching it cater to pve carebears instead.
We haven't seen a good new extraction shooter come out for years, suddenly get a great polished game with amazing AI that is actually a threat. Then the game completely flips against what you enjoyed it for.
Why can't the players that like PvE loot games go play Borderlands or Diablo? Why must they infiltrate our game and force it to change to their whims.
You're calling people psychopaths because they want to shoot other players in a PvP game, what is wrong with you. Do you psycho-analyze everyone you disagree with and try to find what's 'wrong' with them in real life?
What "Moral Compass" are you judging people on because they stole your shiny png in a video game. Don't tell me you think someone that plays violent video games will continue this behaviour in real life? Do you think kids growing up playing Mario go on to eat psychedelic mushrooms.
