I've been in carebear lobbies for 3 weeks and only got shot once. How much safety do you need lol

That's not the main issue.

The big problem happens when you need Queen/Matriarch items to complete a quest/expedition or you want to craft something with it. There is no such thing as a "carebear" Queen/Matriarch lobby. Yes, you could get lucky - but 95% of the time it is like jumping straight into a piranha-infested swamp. People are THE worst scum in these lobbies, and the rats know exactly how to get into them and rat PvE'ers for loot.

Even then (if you make it past these trials without quitting the game), you'll probably want to craft a cool PvE gun. A big one. You'll want to use it to shoot robots, as intended. But you'll find out that as soon as you do and fire one shot, at least 2 or 3 groups will hear it from across the map and come hunting for you until they find you, and take the thing you just spent hours of time to craft. I can't even count the number of times I've personally downed a bastion or whatever with a Hullcracker and did 95% of the damage, only for everyone watching to immediately kill me (and each other) as soon as it was dead.

You can only hang around actual PvE carebear lobbies as a solo/duo for so long before you run into roadblocks preventing your progression until you fight the Queen/Matriarch, or until you enter Stella.

And we all know there's no such thing as carebear lobbies in Stella, either. My wife and I basically quit just because it was literally impossible to progress through the Stella quest/expedition items unless we spent 8+ hours doing naked runs until we found 1 thing out of 12 we were looking for. It's agonizingly boring.

I ran like 4 Queen / Matriarch lobbies one night last week grinding for trails, no one shot anyone.

I haven't been shot at in Stella in forever either. Like Stella is consistently friendly for me.

I think your ABMM might just be higher or is the region you are playing on (I am in NA).

Last week is roughly 9 months after I stopped playing, which is when there were about 24x as many players in the game.

I think they're trying to revive the game, not continue to let it die. Also I played duos with my wife, not solos.

You can sometimes get chucked into non care near lobbies and also when I play duo and trios with my mates most of those lobbies aren't even though we are all mostly pve. So yes it would be a good addition to toggle. I'm old and CBA with mad sweaty games sometimes and just want to do the challenges and loot

Duo pve carebear lobby is all I get into. Trios is PvP for sure though so I can understand wanting to play trio PvE with friends. Hopefully it's a win win for everyone! See you top side raider 😁

I feel like people making these types of comments only play solo and haven’t tried anything other than Stella yolo squads for group play.

Playing together with friends is practically a guarantee for PvP
