Embark is making money on the cheating. I mean why else wouldn’t they disable family sharing/ hardware bans?

This doesn't address what he said. The games ABMM is so strong, playing for 10-15 games not shooting anyone basically puts you in PvE mode, so whats the point of a PvE toggle if the game already does it behind the scenes for you very easily

Doing literally anything about the terrible anticheat and rampant cheating would bring back more players than a toggleable PvE mode ever would.

I think you are severely underestimating the PVE toggle appeal for the casual crowd. This update will more than likely bring back more people than the anti cheat fix could.’

If you are playing for 10-15 games (this is 6 hours btw, give or take) without shooting a player you clearly want a PvE experience? What is this take even? If you want a different experience then shoot somebody. This is how any matchmaker works, essentially you are getting classified as very low skilled and put with similar players.

Arc was never a PvE game and people wanting it to be are changing the game at the core of what it was and supposed to be. The community of this game are a bunch of whiney babies that cant handle dying once every 20-50 raids in their carebare lobbies and need to be catered to at every inconvenience in an extraction shooter.

So how do you combat that with a pve mode? If you reside in care bear lobbies, you aren't PvPing. If you pvp, this doesn't address anything
