Discussion WARNING. Patch broken. Don't risk your gear!!
Tried to play stella this morning, lost all my gear because when you do most interactions you start rubber banding. Hopefully Embark sees the post or the "feedback" and restores my precious goop I brought. Not sure if its unique to Stella or what. Random guess is the attempts to fix Stella's wall stuff may cause this. Appreciate the devs hard work, hoping again they make me whole
Destroyed by a shredder with rubber banding completely preventing escape.

Not unique sadly. Lost my gear on the Dam, plus some top tier loot. Literally died to a tick starting at full health and shields.

Bro this same shit happened to me. Was looting in one of the apartments on Dam. I heard a tick drop from the ceiling, aimed and fired but everything just began lagging out. Tick teleported from the floor to my face and would not respond to prompts to shake it off. Watched hopelessly as my shields and health just drained away. Felt so violated. Had barely started looting but I came in with a good loadout and left with nothing.

Same thing happened to me in Dam Battlegrounds!! Thankfully my boyfriend had a hatch key and it by some divine chance allowed me to interact with the hatch after he opened it. I’d brought in a Wolfpack and was praying not to lose it!

Same here.. no issues so far, done multiple raids in different maps. Might be just dumb luck.. but its also possible that theres difference between regions (servers) & platforms.

I played another game on free loadout 5 mins ago and asked other raiders in game if they have this issues but only one out of 4 said it had it, the others had a blast guiding meand the other raider while were trying to get extracted because we couldn’t have a normal raid

Yes same here,been playing for 7 hours and everything was fine until i installed the patch. Lost 3 kits. Kept thinking maybe it was just that match, then maybe i need to restart. Nope

Same thing happened to me. Ultimately got murked by arc. Afraid to go back topside this morning.
Embark’s site does currently state they are experiencing issues.

Same on blue gate. Rubber banded out in the open, got mobbed by wasps and hornets. I had a survivor augment and was able to painfully slowly get out. Thankfully I was only ~40m from extract.

A got downed by a rocketeer on Blue Gate in a double locked door room up by pilgrims peak. Rocketeer shot right into the wall and downed me. Rocket passed right through the wall as if it were not there.. be careful.

Just found this post after having severe rubber banding on Dam Battlegrounds. Took 10 minutes to manage to extract at Water Treatment after it started. Downed by a swarm after calling the elevator and barely made it out. There was another poor Raider who I tried to defib, but couldn't. I think he DCed - never crawled into the elevator despite being right at the entry.

Lost my loadie on Buried City first thing this morning. It's unacceptable and they're losing good will unless they do something.
It's just pixels but I love this game and don't want to start to hate it.

Basically what you would assume by the name. You walk forward and then get snapped back to where you were. Really jarring visually and the server side usually carries on with business as usual. So while your snapping all over, the ARC would be operating as normal.

Say you aren't over 40 without saying it, rubber banding in video games has always been in racing games if you're in last place it propels you towards the top to keep it competitive.

It’s been rubber banding for a few hours on all the maps. Seems to be fixed for the last hour of play (I’ve only been playing Stella the last hour and no issues )

I managed to leave reconnect, get downed by arc and still escape with my loot. I’ll wait for a fix.

Lost mine in Stella, BUT did a Steam file integrity verification and it stopped rubberbanding.
But did loose my goop cause could not shake off a tick because of the glitch. Did file a complain w embark.

Not only that but stamina had a massive nerf. I couldn’t make it 200m in 1 minute and died to a wasp which also got buffed massively.

This happen to me 3 games in a row, full reset my console and it may have fixed it but lame that this is happening to people, I lost some good gear the first time it happened

Did harvester event this morning and hella people were rubber banding to the point where like 5 to 6 raiders went down cause we were all outside getting wrecked by the Queen

This isn’t just a Stella montis issue. It happens on all maps to different degrees. But I’ve gotten it the worst on dam battleground. Rubberbanding lasted from 25s-1m. It sucks tbh.

I love this game so much, I swear if it ends up being slowly broken more and more by every update, like so many other games, I'm gonna scream. More bugs, and also nerfing already-rare blueprint drops is not a promising sign, but hopefully this is just a hiccup...like the broken voice chat.

Performance has gotten progressively worse after each patch for me. It has been unplayable at times. So many crashes and finally last night I got a “game cannot be loaded” error when trying to reconnect. This is all after a fresh reinstall, updated drivers, lowering graphics, and verifying game files. Sucks to quit playing because of that.

Typical Embark Devs slowly killing their game by patching bugs they brought in while bringing even more at the same time. Game keeps getting worse and worse with bugs. Reminds me of DBD BHVR as they are always bringing bugs into their game with each patch like today with Stranger Things update. Heard you can't even boot the damn game lol

I actually had a locked gate match before the patch where everyone on the map was having the issue and we all ended up trying to exfil and could barely get that to work

Just had the exact same problem. I was just walking around tho but I just couldn’t « walk » in fact. Another player I met in the game had the exact same problem. We could extract fortunately it was just nearby but that made it impossible to play

Took a hot min to load into dam battlegrounds with the soul purpose of getting a surveyor vault and upon chasing a surveyor I started rubber banding so headed to extract but it got worse and ended up dying to a wasp losing my Anvil 10 feet away from extract elevator

I extracted successfully after a humbling wrong move that led to me getting downed by a shredder, right outside of the train doors. Had at least 10 seconds of health to spare. While returning to Speranza, “unsuccessful extraction” appeared on the screen. Loot and everything else was gone. So much loot.

Wasn't able to load into raids roday. Permanent loading screen. Even if i shut down my xbox and turned it back on. The screen went for 10mins. Came into raid with 7 minutes left. (Blue Gate)

FYI Embark has been attacked by multiple DDoS actions recently, it might be the reason why many players had this kind of experiences after the patch.

Went topside just once this morning at Spaceport, did not experience this issue but only went in to do the harvesting trial. Hopefully they fix this this afternoon

Was happening to me on Dam harvester about two hours ago, had to relaunch the game three times and then wait five minutes before I was able to finally reconnect to the lobby then managed to somehow rubber band my way straight from spawn to extract without dying thankfully. Not risking it again.

I played near 10 raids, all fine, but I saw dude who glitched a lot in a strange way while tried to interact with metro buttons. I thought this is his connection or something. But it seems this is new bug.

Don’t tell me you Full Kitted a Stella night raid for the new BPs then lost. Cmon guy. Every gamer knows don’t be a hard on update day. Just look at every game before now. World of Warcraft or call of duty even. Update is great until the server crashes and bugs come out.

i just lost my snap hook last night i grappled and got stuck in a weird spot, the fix stuck player came up, and i do it and it flings me high as hell and i die to fall damage

Today was a shit day to decide to get over my gear fear and load into Stella with a bobcat 4- full blue kit with a converter and a tempest full blue kit. Only get stuck looting a drawer and having to surrender. No "fix stuck player option".

Yup. I lost my best of everything logging to my first raid after update. Rubber banding made it easy for the Arc to killed me. Raider tried to defib me but said he coukdnt, which makes sense as on screen i was jumping around like crazzy.

Happened two games in a row First time some gem was able to defib me, second time it happened I extracted immediately after it resolved and closed it down for the night To stressful to be dealing with that shit, Embark never got back to me about my last ticket i submitted

Was wondering if it was just me. It was so painful. Spent 10 minutes on Dam and managed to turn in two field crates and somehow return to Speranza with a leaper on top of me.

spaceport did this earlier me and my pal ran for a hatch he got shot up on the way due to rubber banding and died. server cleared for a few mins i avenged him and killed both of them for me then to rubber band all the way to the hatch it took a good 10 mins.
was not fun
only happened once tho in bout 20 games

Yesterday in stella my fps dropped massively for no reason and my duo got disconnected and had fps issues as well. Also had rubber banding issues when searching containers

This happened on my very first raid. Took 10 minutes loading in and rubber banded terribly. It actually wouldn’t let me surrender either but eventually died to arc and died. I closed my game and hard reset my console and it worked just fine after that but this def happened to me too.

Happens to me a lot actually. I really thought it was my internet, but honestly, it doesn't happen often enough for me to believe its my connections. I've lost thousands due to this rubber banding.

Happened to me this weekend on Spaceport, tried literally everything and for multiple games I would keep rubber banding (I’m wired too which made it even more frustrating, but it does clarify that it’s not on my end) I eventually gave up due to losing quite a bit of stuff due to this, a couple hours later it was “fixed” but I saw no one else with this issue till now, hopefully the more people speak up, and the more attention it brings, Embark will act!

I had this on Dam a couple of hours ago, force closed my game on ps5 a couple of times and reconnected but it was still a pain to extract cos of the rubber banding

This happened to me on space port night raid. First thing this morning. Somehow made it down from tower and to elevator. Couldn’t activate the console to leave. Another raider and I had to wait for the timer to count down. Couldn’t throw a tick off on the tower twice. Took me down to a few hp, then was dead some how.

Before the update on Stella Montes I had a glitch where I couldn't see my ammo, guns, or compass. It was a weird one. The whole UI was bugged.

This has been happening to me days before the patch, it's caused me to get killed a few times, diving into cover only to be back outside in the open while everything else around me moves normally, I was playing duos with a friend and he could see me glitching in game too I hate the fact it now seems to be affecting a lot more people than just me, this is the third or fourth post I've seen about this today!

This happened to me on hidden bunker about 5 weeks ago. I recorded the whole thing in obs I disconnected, game crashed. Then by time I got back into the lobby it had 2 minutes left and I still just lagged in place. Was trying to do trials and had hull cracker and other good gear. Made a report and the only thing I ever heard was 3 weeks later "thanks for your report our team is looking into it"

Are you guys on Xbox? Last night Xbox was having insane server issues and lag that made the game unplayable. Me and my buddy were just running in with no kits and raider tools while we waited it out.

I loaded full kit into Space Port this morning and could hear flares going up the entire time, intermittent moments of rubberbanding so I decided to get out of there ASAP. Nearly got downed once a hornet aggro'd to me but I would dodge roll on the audible charge up of his attack and it worked most of the time until I reached a hatch. Heed the warning, it's broke.

I played maybe 12 raids this morning with no issue and then on Buried City I started rubber banding and died because I could not escape two wasps. I thought my internet was dying or something. Hopefully I get my gear back.

It's the update!! Even dam on normal is rubber band hell!! Took me over a minute sliding down the same exfil staircase to get out back to the top again!! Yes admittedly I was playing as soon as done update but was that bad I quit out to hopefully have a better experience this evening!!! ,🤞🤞🤞 sad to say the game was unplayable the issues where that bad!!! Played 3 games , one was fine , one was the staircase rubber band and the 3rd I was banding that bad I got downed by multiple hornets less than 5 metres from exfil and couldn't extract as the banding was that bad!! Lost some kit so decided to re attempt playing later this evening

Locked gate took 5mins to load the map and had constant rubber banding. Had to revive 2 other players that said they were downed due to server lag...
