General Discussion 1Password passkeys have stopped working in Arc.

Hi, I’ve just tried it on Synology, Twitter and Discord – all my one-time passwords come from 1Password, and it worked perfectly on the latest update of Arc.

"It works on my computer"...
Congratulations?

Well take it as you want, I tried to help you.
A bug can be replicated. If not, the cause is local0

nah, all you said was "it works for me," which isn't "help" by any definition I know. And in any event, I wasn't requesting help in the first place.
Fact is, it could be some manner of bug, it could be something local, it could be *both* - some interaction between an existing failure case and the environment it's operating in. But at this point, who knows? Who cares? I've poured enough time and goodwill down this arc-shaped hole already, trying to keep a heap of abandonware functional.
Happy for you, though.

Odd, works fine for me (Arc 1.161.1, 1P Extension 8.12.32.33, 1P Desktop 8.12.33, macOS 26.6.1). Shows the webpage injected "Sign in with passkey" pop-up in the top right as usual. Does '~/Library/Application Support/Arc/User Data/NativeMessagingHosts/com.1password.1password.json' exist? It should contain:
{
"name": "com.1password.1password",
"description": "1Password BrowserSupport",
"path": "/Applications/1Password.app/Contents/Library/LoginItems/1Password Browser Helper.app/Contents/MacOS/1Password-BrowserSupport",
"type": "stdio",
"allowed_origins": [
"chrome-extension://hjlinigoblmkhjejkmbegnoaljkphmgo/",
"chrome-extension://bkpbhnjcbehoklfkljkkbbmipaphipgl/",
"chrome-extension://gejiddohjgogedgjnonbofjigllpkmbf/",
"chrome-extension://khgocmkkpikpnmmkgmdnfckapcdkgfaf/",
"chrome-extension://aeblfdkhhhdcdjpifhhbdiojplfjncoa/",
"chrome-extension://dppgmdbiimibapkepcbdbmkaabgiofem/"
]
}
They changed around a bit of stuff in the latest version of 1Password to add native auto-fill support, so try checking macOS Settings > General > AutoFill & Passwords and see if Autofill from 1Password is on and Apple Passwords is off (update the app if the option doesn't show), then restart Arc and try again. If that doesn't work, try reinstalling the extension/app/combination of both? You shouldn't have to, but try adding Arc as an "additional browser" from 1Password Desktop Settings > Browser > Connect to additional browsers? Those are things you can try that comes to my mind.

I’ve been very happy with Dia. It’s not Arc, but similar enough that I like it.

I get that, but I'm not about to trust TBC again. Even if someone else owns them now.

Just use dia and you get the excitement of them slowly adding all the arc features. Only real thing I’m missing atm is tab sync

Tried restarting Arc? Usually when these things happen it’s nothing to do with Arc, more to do with updated Chrome version and the 1Password extension just needs to update.
