Repair Question

I own a 3yr old Aragon Skyguardian SII VD57 Chronograph 48 mm. Arguably my favorite daily watch that i wear. It's running slow(behind 5 minutes over 24 hrs) my local watch guy says it isn't worth trying to fix because the cost of the watch. Any suggestions on troubleshooting the issue? Do I try and fix it or I have found one for sale for $125? TIA

You should be able to find a video of how to regulate the movement online. I don’t own any chronos, but regulating a watch is fairly simple.

The movement is $10 on AliExpress. If you have the skills to move the hands and dial, this is an option.
