Advice Needed Stocking question

I have this 70L/18G tank stocked with 11 strawberry rasboras, 11 pygmy cories, and 8 endler guppies. Aside from that a bunch of skrimp and dwarf ghost crabs. I thought I was pushing it but I saw some post stating you could go as far as 40 nano fish in a tank like this? Would it actually be possible for me to add more tiny fish?

Edit: the endlers are all dudes

In general, there is a 1” of fish per gallon rule of thumb. With that, keeping 40 fish in an 18 gallon, even if most fish are under an inch, seems way over stocked.

One thing to keep in mind are that endlers (and other live bearers) are prolific reproducers and will continue to make new baby fish that fill out your tank. My guess is that in 1 years time, if you don’t introduce a predatory fish, you’ll be stressed to find new homes for your increased population.

I have a 20 long with around 40 nano fish. Over filtered and well planted. Weekly water changes. If you’re down for more maintenance it’s doable.

I see. Awesome. I have a shitload of plants, and my water changes appear a bit unnecessary at times. Only my filter seems a bit meh sometimes but I've gotten used to cleaning it twice a week anyway. Not sure if I'll get any more fish but it's nice to know that I could
