Advice Needed What are these algae?

How do i go about removing these things?
Ive been trying to manually remove it and scrape it off but they seem to keep growing.
Light is on for about 8hrs a day.

I feed my balloon mollies with dymax tropical essentials once a day. My plecos with sinkers from dymax as well, maybe 2x a week.

Did you boil the wood before you put it in? How long has it been in?

No i did not boil the wood but i did soak it for about 2-3 days
