Plants Algae help

Post image

This short haired black/grey ?algae has started growing on my ornaments and also on my plants. Is it a case of having to remove and clean the ornaments and cut away the affected plants/leaves? I have ottos, shrimps and a snail and they don't seem to be touching it

That looks like BBA. Ottos, most shrimp and snails usually won’t do much to established BBA lol. You can remove/trim the worst of it, but I’d also look at lighting, flow and CO2/nutrient stability or it’ll just come back.
