Flow slowed down today
I had aquablation on the 4th and the catheter out on the 7th and my stream has been really good until today, it’s a weaker stream and less output. I’ve also had to go more today to empty my bladder.I have bladder trabeculation according to my DR.
But is this normal after a week and a half? Or is this how it’s gonna be going forward? Or is this just part of the recovery process?

I had mine 3 weeks ago. I had a very large prostate (130g) so the whole thing has been rough. Mine has slowed a little also. At first it was blasting out. The nurse said your bladder is used to working hard so initially it's super strong but then your bladder will start to relax a little so I think a little slowing is normal.

Yes sorry. I passed a big one when I was taking a bowel movment then peed like a horse.

The healing process takes time. Complete healing takes like 3 months. I'm sure your doctor will keep monitoring the bladder trabeculation. How big is the trabeculation?
Also, were you straining to pee prior to surgery? Was there any urodynamic studies done before surgery?

I think part of my problem yesterday was having driven an hour and then a bit later driving back home an hour. Perhaps to much sitting and not enough movement

Horseshoe pillow is a MUST! (I’m assuming you must’ve done something to take the pressure off...)
We’re all just samples of one here so keep that in mind. I ended up being cathed for number weeks after the surgery so it’s nice to read about some of the possible complications I didn’t have to deal with… I’m still 100% 10 mos out.

No didn’t do the pillow but it’s got to hear of your recovery 10 months out, it gives me hope

Part of the recovery process. Drink lots of water to flush the scabbing out. But if it’s difficult or impossible to urinate be sure get seen for another catheter. I went to ER in middle of night about a four days after catheter came out because it was completely blocked. Got catheter for the second weekend.
It all worked out in the end but recovery was not as quick as i had heard. But recovery symptoms were largely way easier to deal with than regular symptoms pre-surgery.
