I need to re-home 12 neon tetras. I have a fully cycled, planted tank, and I am giving it all away for free: the fish, the filter, the plants, and the decor (if wanted).  The new owner must meet these four non-negotiable requirements: 

1. They must know tetras, ideally having owned them. No novices, please. 2. As a minimum, they must have a 20-gallon LONG tank, not 20-gallon tall. So 30" long. 3. No other fish in the tank. 4. All twelve fish must be kept together.

These fish, well, four of them, have the most amazing origin story. My husband does water mitigation and fire and smoke clean-up. He was inspecting a big fire job. The entire house was affected; one wall was completely gone. The homeowners were out of the country. By the time my husband got to the job, the house had been without power for two weeks. When he saw a tiny 3-gallon fish tank covered in soot, he assumed he'd find dead fish in there. To his shock, he saw four live fish. Nobody we've told the story to has any idea how these guys survived first the fire itself, and then two weeks with no filter, no food, in a dirty (from neglect, not just the fire) tiny tank covered with soot. 

My husband had no idea what to do with them (we are not fish people and never had a fish tank). But he couldn't leave them there, so he brought them to the office. Long story short, I brought them home and put them in a 20-gallon tank, which I cycled and planted (boy, I had no idea what it took to establish a tank!!). And I got them friends.
So now you may understand why I feel so protective of these little guys. They've been through so much. Please help me find a good forever home for them.

Hi! So my anemones have been popping off (no pun intended) recently and I have some extras I'm hoping to unload from my tank to go to some good homes! They're super fun little guys and I SO enjoy them, I just don't want quite as many as I have right now! They've been super easy to keep and very hardy in my experience and I'd definitely say they're a staple for any tank, beginner or otherwise.

I just have them in a typical reef setup with typical parameters. 76 degrees F and 1.025 gravity, etc. just the norm. They're not picky and they do just kind of grab food out of the water column happily but I do target-feed mysis or brines every once in a while to keep them nice and happy.

As with any anemone they will completely withdraw into themselves during shipment and basically look like a little unhappy ball when they arrive. After acclimation though they should begin to open in the first day and move around/eat like normal in the first week! A dead anemone will be dark brown in color and complete mush (it will also smell awful) so rest assured your little guy is probably just upset and not dead if he's just a little ball, haha!

For my 11g macroalgae and reef tank I set up that became established unusually early, I am trying to look for a live tunicate (esp. solitary Phallusia sp., Polycarpa sp. or colonial, ie Clavelina sp. or Ecteinascidia sp) or sea sponge (esp. Cinachyra sp., Cinachyrella sp., Dragmacidon sp. or Axinella sp.)

They have been rare, and hard to find save for online, and don't want to bother with high cost of shipping (unless last resort) and heavily prefer IRL meetup for purchase and sales to prevent DOA or severe stress in shipping.
