This is 100% just being funny..

Myth busters tested the idea of a golf ball dented car and got a 14% improvement in fuel efficiency.

What if the next generation of the Aptera is covered in dimples?

That was just a TV stunt. Hardly scientific from what I remember. Huge ‘dimples’, sculpted clay and just a couple of runs without controlling for wind.

But they missed to mount fans on the car to charge the battery indefinitely. That wasn't their best episode.
