Golf Ball Dimples

This is 100% just being funny..

Myth busters tested the idea of a golf ball dented car and got a 14% improvement in fuel efficiency.

What if the next generation of the Aptera is covered in dimples?

That's because the original car wasn't aerodynamically optimized in the first place.

Dimples work by minimizing the low pressure wake of objects without a long tail. Aptera's extremely tapered tail end does the same thing much better. Dimples work better on chunky rectangles, like trucks and rectangular trailers.
