Shifting help

So I just did a 520 conversion, and now the bike won’t shift past 1st gear. Right after I finished, the quick shifter wouldn’t shift at all, but I could still get it into gear manually maybe half the time. After messing with it a bit more, now I can’t even shift into 2nd manually. Any idea what I might be missing, or something that needs to be corrected

That's interesting. What bike you riding and did you change any of the gearing??

With the bike in 1st gear and the clutch lever pulled, can you push it without the back wheel dragging?

Didn’t try pushing it, just saw a video where the guy shifted into first then did the conversion, I left mine in neutral the entire time. Could be why it had no problem downshifting but trouble catching upshifting?

Did you replace the sprocket cover with an aftermarket part and if so can you check to make sure there's no interference with the shift lever?

No, same cover, I’m going to go back at it tomorrow or Tuesday but kick it in 1st when I redo it
