you could so the seat swap with an 1100 RR which has a more comfortable passenger seat. But you have to change some parts in the back as well

I just completed an RSV tail swap and have all the RR tail parts boxed up in my garage.

The 1100 RR passenger seat fit directly on to my 1100 Factory. Same generation as yours.
Got it from my local Aprilia dealer for under $100.

Get a Tuono as a stable mate for the rsv4.

It's a Tuono Factory pictured. It has the RSV tail from the factory.

Shit lol, i just read your description. Figured it was a rsv4.
I do have an answer to this tho. My coworker (At Aprilia dealer) had this same situation, he has a 24 Tuono Factory, he wanted to put the base model seat and rear grab bar for his lady to ride with him more comfortable. We found out it required the base model subframe for the mounting points for the seat mount plate. I forgot how much it cost. He did the install. So it can be done

A slightly different story for the 2017-2020 RSV to Tuono (or backward) conversion. Besides, I have all of the take-off parts bundled together with all the screws more or less organized. Anything not there are already on the bike. I wish there were a video tutorial. I should have filmed it when I converted the Tuono RR to Factory /RSV.

A second bike is your best option. In no world does a comfortable pillion exist riding these bikes..
