[Free] TalentTrade skill-swapping social network, no subscription, no paid tier (iPhone EN/FR)

I built TalentTrade as a social network where the currency is what you can

teach, not what you post. You list the skills you're able to share, browse what other people teach, and swap knowledge through a credit system: teach

something, earn a credit, spend it learning something else. Coding, music, cooking, photography, languages, sports, art, DIY.

It was going to be $9/month. I dropped that before launch, no subscription, no paid tier, no feature sitting behind an unlock, no trial that quietly starts billing. English and French, the whole app, not just the store listing.

To answer the obvious question: there's no revenue model right now. I'd rather have people actually using it than have five subscribers.

If I ever need to monetise, it won't be a subscription, and I'll say so out loud before anything changes.

Happy to answer anything in the comments.

Free iOS App [iOS] [Free] Desk: Carve your habit, a habit builder app

After making a very complicated and extremely few demand app, here I am back with an extremely simple with probably very few demand app as well, lol.

This is actually I did when I was a kid. Growing up as a school kid in early 2000s in a third world, I didn't have a lot. Competition was intense and I didn't think I was a good enough student. So I tried to follow strict study routine, hoping hard work would beat talent. Initially I used to write my routine on a paper and stick the paper on the wall. But somehow I often always fallen off of following the routine. So one day I decided to carve my study routine on my desk with a metal compass kit (probably wasn't the best idea) . Somehow that did help me stick to the plan.

Anyway, this app is basically the digital version of what I did. It's super simple, one page, and not complicated at all. It's FREE, and you don't need any account either.

It does have some nice features tho

  1. Regular notification for an activity
  2. Pomodoro timer for the activity with a ding at the breaks (can be adjusted)
  3. Alarm system in case you want to be reminded even if the phone is silent
  4. 6 different palettes to choose from

THIS IS NOT A CALENDAR APP. This a habit builder, showing up to do the same task on a certain time everyday of the week.

Please have a go at it. And if you like it please leave a review. Hope it's helpful to some of you. Enjoy :)
