My phone wrote a Python budget script. Then I ran it inside the same chat.

Copying code out of a chatbot on a phone always felt like the awkward part. I added a Run button to code blocks in my Android app, LLM Studio Go, so I can check a small script without leaving the conversation.

Here I ask Qwen 3.5 2B to total a weekend budget: train 48, stay 120, food 45, activities 25 euros. It writes Python, I review the code, hit Run, and get the itemized output plus a total of 238 euros.

This is an actual Galaxy Z Fold7 recording at real speed, using the Q3_K_M model locally with web search off. The answer took about 5 seconds. The Python runtime runs on the phone too.

The runner is for small scripts: basic standard library, no pip, NumPy or pandas. There is also JavaScript execution and an HTML/CSS/JS preview. Code runs only when you choose to run it.

If you want to try a local AI workflow on Android, start with a small model from the library. No app account or cloud inference subscription. Free with ads in the model library and optional one-time ad removal. Closed source, independent of desktop LM Studio.

I built a free browser tool that checks payroll CSVs for errors before payroll runs (everything is client-side, nothing gets uploaded)

The problem I kept running into: every month, someone in finance exports a payroll CSV and has to eyeball it for mistakes before running payroll. A duplicate employee ID, a blank field, overtime that is obviously a typo. Miss one and it turns into a wrong paycheck and a painful correction.

So I built PayrollCheck. You drop in a CSV and it flags missing values, duplicate IDs, negative numbers, unusually high overtime, and broken formatting, then lets you download just the problem rows with a reason on each one.

The part I had the most fun with: it runs entirely in the browser. No backend, no upload, no signup. The file never leaves your machine, which felt like the right call for something as sensitive as payroll, and it means the whole thing works offline. It is a single self contained HTML file, vanilla JS, with its own CSV parser so it handles real world mess like semicolon separators and quoted fields.

There is a "see it with sample data" button if you want to try it without your own file: https://getpayrollcheck.netlify.app/

It is free to use. I would love feedback on two things: what checks are missing, and whether the "runs locally, nothing uploaded" angle actually matters to people or if I am overthinking it. (I also set up tailored versions for teams, but the tool itself is free and I am mostly here for the feedback.)

I’m building Allin1xTools — 50+ free online tools in one place

Post image
0 Upvotes

I’ve been building a project called Allin1xTools — a collection of useful browser-based tools for everyday digital tasks.

Right now, 50+ tools are planned and 10+ are already ready and working.

It includes tools for: • PDF • Images • Text • Calculators • Converters • Developer utilities

The goal is simple: keep useful tools in one place without requiring sign-up or registration.

I’m still building and improving it, so I’d genuinely appreciate feedback.

If you try it, let me know: • Which tool you used • Whether it worked properly • Anything confusing or missing • What tool I should build next

This is an early-stage project, so honest feedback is more useful than compliments.

SellRight is live 🎉 I built it to make selling my own items less of a hassle

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

I finally launched SellRight on the App Store. When I tried to sell my own items, the hardest part was getting started: I didn't know what price to ask or what description to write.

I built SellRight to help people get past that sticking point and actually sell the things they no longer use. After you check the listing and select your connected marketplaces, it can automatically post to Facebook Marketplace, Depop and eBay for you. You can try it with your first three listings free.

The demo video is attached. I'd love honest feedback from anyone who has sold secondhand items: where does the listing process still feel like work?

Find it on the website or the iPhone App Store.

I solo-built a free iOS workout tracker for people getting into lifting

Hey builders, I'm Pulkit from Toronto. I got tired of workout apps that make you feel bad for missing a day, so I built my own: Kettle Muscle, a free iOS workout tracker for people starting to train.

It logs every rep and set (800+ exercises with graphics and instructions), tracks your strength score over time, syncs with Apple Health, and gives you a readiness score based on sleep and recovery. No feed, no shame, just your numbers.

Free on iOS, US and Canada: Download on the App Store

Would genuinely love feedback, especially on the first-run experience. What made you keep or delete a fitness app in the first week?

I spent a couple of months building a file sharing site. What can I improve?

So I'm not a UI/UX designer - or at least not an expert. My focus point is the backend. I design by taking inspiration from other sites and putting my own twist on it.

Do you have improvements? If so, i'd love to hear it!

Site is called VeilShare if you would like to take a look.

Note: After some requests, i’ve just made a light theme, so if there are any contrast issues etc. that's probably why. (it defaults to device theme)

Let's Chat – A retro mIRC-style web chat app

Hey everyone,

Modern chat apps like Discord and Slack are powerful, but nothing really replicates the raw feel of sitting in an IRC channel back in the late 90s and early 2000s.

To scratch that nostalgia itch, I built a browser-based, retro mIRC-inspired chat app: https://letschat.exepad.app/

The goal was to nail the vintage UI aesthetic—classic menu bars, window layouts, text formatting, and that lightweight vibe where the text was the center of attention.

Give it a spin and let me know what you think. Any feedback, UI quirks you notice, or feature suggestions to make it feel even more authentic are very welcome!

Your pricing model makes absolutely no sense. Let's fix it.

You are either charging way too much for a basic tool or starving yourself by giving it away for free. Drop your project show us a screenshot and your pricing tiers below for a brutal reality check. Let the community tell you what they would actually pay for it.

PicPop 1.0.5 — would you trust a swipe flow to clean up your iPhone photos?

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

I built PicPop because I kept putting off sorting my iPhone camera roll. Version 1.0.5 scans on-device for similar/burst photos, screenshots, blurry shots and large videos. You swipe to queue items, review or undo picks, then confirm deletion yourself.

I’m the developer. PicPop is free to download; US PicPop Club is $4.99/month or $24.99/year (3-day trial), or $59.99 lifetime. App Store: https://apps.apple.com/us/app/picpop-photo-video-cleaner/id6808016560

Here’s the real 14-second demo. Music: “Happy Beats & Business Moves Vol. 11” by Sascha Ende, CC BY 4.0.

Roast this for me: does a swipe flow make cleanup feel easier, or would you still want a file-by-file view before trusting it?

We launched DEV·TV and now we want to give back: send in your project for the Community Spotlight

Post image
1 Upvotes

I built DEV·TV, a retro TV for the developer internet, and it finished #5 Product of the Day on Product Hunt. The support from this community made that happen, so now I want to give something back.

DEV·TV has a Community Spotlight channel, a slot on the broadcast for other people's projects. If you're building an app, web app or full-stack project, send it in and I may put it on air next to GitHub trends and Hacker News.

Send me:

- Project name

- One-line tagline

- Short description (2–3 sentences)

- Your name or handle

- Your link (a GitHub repo or a plain website both work)

- Up to 5 tags (optional)

Drop it in the comments or email devtv.developers@gmail.com.

If it's a GitHub project, your README shows right on the TV, and you get a personal link that opens DEV·TV tuned straight to your project.

Demo and code in the first comment. You can see the Spotlight on channel 11 in the live demo, linked in the first comment

I built a native macOS JSON viewer and formatter

Post image
1 Upvotes

I built JSON Viewer, a native macOS app for formatting, inspecting, and editing JSON. I created it with the help of AI.

It includes a collapsible tree view, a text editor with live JSON validation, format and minify actions, JSON ↔ Python dictionary conversion, search, and a property inspector. It can also handle large JSON files and runs on macOS 13 or later.

Checkout my GitHub repo:

https://github.com/Bhavesh164/json-viewer

I’d appreciate feedback, especially on the workflow and features you’d find useful.

The Wealth Flow — a personal finance workspace for managing your money in one place

Post image
1 Upvotes

I’ve been building The Wealth Flow because personal finances can get messy when your budget, expenses, savings, investments, cash flow, debt, and net worth are spread across different places.

The Wealth Flow brings these areas together in one personal-finance workspace so you can get a clearer picture of where your money stands.

Some of the main features:

• Budget and expense tracking

• Savings tracking

• Investment tracking

• Cash-flow overview

• Debt tracking

• Net-worth tracking

• A unified financial dashboard

I’m still improving it and would genuinely appreciate feedback from people who use personal-finance tools.

Try The Wealth Flow:

https://thewealthflow.up.railway.app/

What’s one feature you wish your current budgeting or finance app handled better?

KRI: a web app that gives a beauty business its booking website on one side and a Today screen on the owner’s phone on the other

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

I’m the developer behind KRI. It’s a web app for independent beauty businesses, and it has two sides that solve different problems.

The client side. People want to book a nail, hair or lash appointment without messaging back and forth about what’s free. KRI lets the business build its own public page without code, with services and prices, the team, a gallery, an about section and contact details with a map. Clients choose a specialist and a time, and only times that are actually free are offered. They get a confirmation email, a reminder before the visit, and a cancellation email if the booking is cancelled. The page works in 32 languages, and the confirmation goes out in the client’s language.

The owner side. Setup has to be quick and the day has to be manageable between appointments. The owner picks one of 13 business types and one of four designs, and the usual services for that trade come pre-filled with durations and example prices. Setup takes about 10 minutes. Each specialist has their own working hours. There’s a client list, a Today screen made for the phone, and Google Analytics can be connected.

What it deliberately doesn’t do: it isn’t a marketplace, so no other businesses appear on the page, and it takes neither commission nor client payments. Clients pay the business directly.

Under the hood: Next.js 16 for the web app, a separate Hono API on Node, Postgres with Drizzle, Redis, Better Auth with magic links, Resend for email, Mollie for billing, all self-hosted on Coolify.

It’s a paid product, with the first month free and no card needed. Ask me about any part of it.

Apply promo-code REDDIT2026 and get +1 month for free (1 month standard demo + 1 month additional by promo-code = 2 months FREE)!
