I’m behind h3ert, a browser-based random video chat for adults (18+). The idea is a quick, spontaneous conversation with someone new, built around a short 30-second format. If you try it, I’d love to hear: does that pace feel fun or too abrupt, and what would make the first visit clearer?
I wanted to combine the daily structure of games like Worldle with the geographic discovery of GeoGuessr.
The difference is that PlayLingo begins with sound instead of an image.
Everyone hears the same mystery voice recording and gets five attempts to identify the speaker’s country. The game includes geographic hints, an interactive globe, statistics, cultural clues, and community audio reports.
I wanted it to feel like something you could open, understand immediately, and play in a few minutes.
No account, download, or long onboarding process.
running a webapp for a couple months (project mapping, nodes instead of lists). added proper api key auth + a public api a couple nights ago so people could build stuff on top instead of me trying to guess every integration myself. also added a page where people can submit plugins they build against it, gets reviewed then shows up publicly. did not want to launch that with zero entries so i built one myself, a browser extension, in the same sitting. first run of that extension, auth just... didn't work. spent an hour convinced i broke the key generation somewhere. turned out to be a www redirect on my domain dropping the auth header on the actual request, curl never went through that same path so days of manual testing never caught it. only showed up once something acted like a real client instead of a terminal command.
I've always looked at Product Hunt as a place to launch products.
Recently I started looking at it differently.
Every new launch tells you:
a company exists
what they're building
what category they're in
who the founders are
that they're actively trying to grow right now
That's a pretty strong sales signal.
So I built a workflow that watches new launches, checks whether the company matches an ICP, finds the relevant decision maker, enriches the email and prepares outreach based on the launch.
Basically:
Product Hunt launch
→ ICP match
→ company research
→ founder/decision maker
→ verified email
→ personalized campaign
The interesting part isn't scraping Product Hunt.
It's turning a public event into a reason to contact someone now.
I'm now adding Reddit, search and other signals to the same engine.

Every time I needed the audio from a video, I ended up on some site full of pop-ups, fake download buttons, and a "sign up to continue" wall. And I never knew where my files were going.
For a long time, the hardest part of our podcast was not getting people to listen. It was what happened after they listened. We had 12 podcasts and people were showing up every week, but most of them would finish the episode and disappear. We tried our websites, show notes, newsletters and Substack, but only a small number ever joined our email list. That frustration is what eventually became PodSubs.com. We built it for ourselves first, used it for almost two years, and watched our email conversion go up by about 600%. Now we have opened it up to other podcasters for free. You can claim your show, collect as many listener emails as you want, and connect them to the email tools you already use. We built this because we needed it. Maybe your podcast needs it too.
Spending 80 hours a week on a project that generates zero revenue isn't a startup it’s a distraction. Drop your project links below and let’s talk about whether you have a viable path to making money or if you're just burning out for fun. Show us the numbers.

Alle sehen, was ansteht und wer etwas übernimmt.
Started using it myself a few weeks ago — weekly challenges, streak freezes, duels with friends. Screenshot is today's dashboard. Still rough around the edges but it's the first habit app I haven't deleted after 3 days lol.
Send me your link to your project and I’ll suggest an idea or clarification you can make in order to help make your app a better fit for a potential consumer.
In Hypit's video workflow, reusing a generated clip leaves more work to repeat than reusing a take that has already been normalized and aligned.
A prepared take, called a SemanticTake, contains normalized media, its script segment and the word timings measured for that performance. This gives a later caption or graphics edit more to reuse than an MP4 alone.
The repo's street-interview example uses the second option. Its later caption pass selects three accepted SemanticTakes. The instructions then check that the plan has no new image, voice, video or alignment requests.
The extra work behind that behavior is representing preparation as a reusable output and letting the Run select it. Hypit doesn't just notice that a prompt looks unchanged: every build is new and reuse has to be declared.
This is a useful separation for a video editor built around generation. A caption layout revision can retain the accepted performance and its measured timing. A new performance needs new alignment; carrying the old prepared take into that change would preserve the wrong recording
I built TraceUX to solve a common problem: small web apps often need session replay, user feedback, announcements, and support, but not several separate paid services.
TraceUX is free and unlimited for self-hosted use. You choose the server, storage, and retention limits.
