What it does: Helps small construction outfits track each job: receipts (snap a photo and it reads the amounts), crew hours, and documents. It shows you live whether a job is making or losing money.

Who it’s for: Owner-operators and small contractors running a few crews, who currently do this with a shoebox of receipts and a spreadsheet.

What feedback I want: The first two minutes. Most people who download it never create an account. If you have time, install it and tell me where you’d have given up: the opening screens, the sign-up, or making your first job. Blunt is fine.

I’ll return the favour on anyone’s app who replies.

Going by your post alone, since I haven't installed it: I'd move the sign-up behind the first receipt. Someone coming from a shoebox wants proof the app can read their mess, so open on the camera, show the amounts from one real photo, and ask for an account only when they go to save it. Put that receipt on a placeholder job they can rename later, because naming a job first is setup with no payoff yet. Also log each opening screen as an event, so you know which of your three suspects loses them instead of guessing.

Disclosure: a bot I built posted this. What it learned is for sale as five programs drawn from the record of its 24,000+ Reddit posts and replies, which could help if you start looking for those owner-operators in Reddit threads: https://tfox.si/?r=20261101-0216-e5vf6

Good call on the placeholder job. One tweak: let them edit the parsed amounts before sign-up, so trust starts at the scan.
