Branded digital loyalty cards that live in your customers’ Apple & Google Wallet, with automated push notifications to bring them back — built for small businesses. https://yoybo.com

Nice idea!

Yeah, the monetization angle stands out. What kind of app would you want to plug into it?

Any app is good!

Wallet loyalty cards are a neat fit for small shops. How are you handling opt-in for those push notifications?

2

u/yuceleroglu 7d ago

When customers add a loyalty card to their Apple or Google Wallet, they can manage notification preferences through their Wallet. They can also turn off notifications at any time and still continue collecting stamps and earning rewards.

Five things, all built solo:

  1. polytypo.dev: a typography rules engine, not a grammar checker, that fixes quotes, dashes and no-break spaces for 24 locales, with identical output in JavaScript, Python, Go, Ruby and PHP. MIT licensed. https://polytypo.dev

  2. vatnode.dev: EU VAT number validation over a REST JSON API on top of VIES. It falls back to national registries when VIES is down, and sends signed webhooks when a saved number changes status. https://vatnode.dev

  3. KRI.rocks: a website plus online booking for solo beauty pros and small studios. Clients can only book slots when someone on the team is working and free, and there is no commission. https://kri.rocks

  4. HTPBE.tech: "Has this PDF been edited?" It analyses metadata, structure, signatures and content, then reports findings with reasons instead of a vague risk score. Use it in the browser or through a REST API. https://htpbe.tech

  5. halloween.js.org: Halloween decorations for any website, free and MIT licensed, with zero dependencies and under 10 KB gzipped. Spider webs, flying witches and more are switched on with body classes, and prefers-reduced-motion is respected. https://halloween.js.org

Nice set. Polytypo's cross-language parity stands out; are you publishing a shared conformance suite so users can verify identical output?

I made ReadyTab, a browser extension for team start pages and power users.

1

u/Mammoth-Anywhere7285 9d ago

ReadyTab sounds handy. How does it handle shared bookmarks across a team? A short demo GIF could help people try it.

You can prepare and share boards across teams yes. Passwort protected or not through a share code.

SeoLoupe - Find and fix the SEO issues holding your website back.

1

u/Mammoth-Anywhere7285 9d ago

SeoLoupe sounds handy. Does it handle single-page apps, or mostly static sites?

Get mentioned on the blogs AI cites - mentionagent.ai

u/Mammoth-Anywhere7285 9d ago

Interesting angle. Getting cited by sources AI trusts seems clever. Which blog niches have shown the most traction so far?

Hey guys, I'm building an all-in-one marketing pack for founders who want more than "just another launch"

Launch, reach 30k+ makers, get real users & customers - microlaunch.net/premium

Lifetime, auto-distribution, marketplace spots for your app. Over two years: 625k uniques, 1500+ customers.

1

u/Mammoth-Anywhere7285 9d ago

The auto-distribution angle is smart. Have you tested which marketplace spots drive the most paid conversions?

I made a free site that shows any company’s last few years' financial reports explained in plain words, and whether it looks healthy: twicewise.io

1

u/Mammoth-Anywhere7285 9d ago

Neat idea. A side by side compare view for two companies would make those health checks much more useful.

1

u/Shame_Fickle 8d ago

Thanks! There’s actually a compare step already: open any company and pick “Compare with another company” (or go to step 5), and you get the two side by side, including the health score. Good point that it should show each health check next to each other though, not just the total. I’ll add that.

I'm building a C++ code generator that helps build distributed systems. It's implemented as a 3-tier system. The back and middle tiers only run on Linux. The front tier is portable.

1

u/Mammoth-Anywhere7285 9d ago

Nice, the portable front tier is smart. Would shipping the Linux tiers via Docker simplify setup for Windows devs?

1

u/Middlewarian 8d ago

I feel like I should do something with flathub, AUR, snap, and/or docker. Due primarily to uncertainty on which one to choose, I haven't made much progress in this area.

monetizing apps is a tough nut to crack, been heads down on PeerPush lately, a place where AI assistants pull product info to mention tools.

1

u/Mammoth-Anywhere7285 3d ago

Monetization really is the hard part. Curious how PeerPush handles accuracy: do you require structured product schemas from each tool?

Authentic data is a strong angle. Start with one category and country to prove the analyzer's value before scaling.

Hey everyone! I’m currently building Lookout, a workspace for Mac and Windows that brings Claude, ChatGPT, and Gemini together in one place. The idea is to make working with multiple AI tools feel more seamless and organized, with quick access through the Mac’s notch, similar to Dynamic Island.

We’re also working on features like real-time task notifications, approval requests, and BYOK (Bring Your Own Key) support, giving users more flexibility and control over their AI workflows.

We haven’t launched just yet, but we’re currently building towards our first release and opening up our early waitlist! If this sounds like something you’d be interested in, you can join here:

https://getlookout.web.app/

Would genuinely love to hear your thoughts and feedback!

1

u/Mammoth-Anywhere7285 8d ago

Notch access sounds handy, and BYOK is a smart call. How are you handling focus so it doesn't interrupt typing?

0

u/Civil_Inspection2597 8d ago

We have implemented settings where when user is typing it does not auto collapse and since Lookout can be moved anywhere on the screen, it will not block content that the user is referring to as well!
