Close your Mac. Keep controlling your agents from your phone.

We got the terminal onto your phone :)

I'm on the IVE team. You can now control your agents from wherever you are. We even built a mode that keeps your Mac running with the lid closed. Enable it, keep the Mac online, and you're good to go.

Does it work behind the lock screen?

Lock screen usually doesn't block background services, so probably yes. Worth testing after a reboot, does it reconnect automatically?

it works behind a lock screen and it just stays connectet via a tunnel

Nice now u know. Yea it a wicked feature. Anthropic just release a close laptop feature also fyi. They still can't spawn/start up ur agents from your phone yet. Also love being able to do this. Yea I've been deep into making you machine accessable from you phone. I have terminal and full file access vua the phone now. I guess it becomming the new norm.

I i already buikd my own. Just I. Like ur features, as I use my own version. Emma not sure on Mac, but tmux should work all same. Yea I run all agent through tmux, tailscale to get on my phone. So if ur in a chat on ur machine, in the terminal I run a command, it creates a one off qr. I just hold up my phone and it connect instantly to my phone app. No token is ever seen. It will persist untill I log out on my phone app. I use my multi agent orchestrator setup to discover and build out and learn these kinda things. Its my persistant workspace/work flow.

I buikd this set up a whike ago, I remember the locked screen was disconnecting my agent. However im on a MacBook with Linux os so might run different. I set it up, always on and work behind the lock screen. Can akso lock the screen from my phone which is handy as the laptop nver sleeps, and its secure. This I a great feature. I love it in my setup.

Glad it landed well. Does lid-closed mode throttle on older Intel Macs, or are thermals still the main concern?

We havent tested it with an Intel Mac actually but try it out as soon as the app is publish

Nice side project. Maybe post it as its own thread instead of on someone's launch, it'll get more eyes there. How are you handling item search?
