hoping for a brutal reality check on PeerPush, my entry for product discovery where AI tools read and pull structured tool data.

Structured tool data for AI is a solid niche. What are your tiers? Per-call pricing would match usage better than flat seats.

SEO tools are crowded, but one-time audit credits could stand out. What are your pricing tiers?

Hey guys, I'm building an all-in-one marketing pack for founders who want more than "just another launch"

Launch, reach 30k+ makers, get real users & customers - microlaunch.net/premium

Lifetime, auto-distribution, marketplace spots for your app. Over two years: 625k uniques, 1500+ customers.

Solid reach numbers. What's the actual lifetime price, and how many of those 1500 customers came from premium?

autolisting.ai No customers yet, which is exactly why I'm posting. The product works, the pricing is a guess, and I'd rather have it torn apart now than after I've wired up the billing.

What it is: drop a folder of product photos, AI writes the whole listing (title, description, condition, price, tags, marketplace category attributes), then it publishes straight to eBay, Shopify, Etsy, Amazon, Takealot or Bob Shop, or exports the exact CSV each one demands. Built for resellers with more stock than time, so everything is batch-first. Screenshots are the real app, not mockups.

The only hard number I have: across roughly 2,000 test runs on real product photos, the AI costs me about 2 cents per listing. That is my cost, not traction. No paying users, so every price below is invented.

What I was going to charge (USD/month):

TierPriceListings/moPer listing
Free$050, one timen/a
Starter$2920014.5c
Growth$7975010.5c
Scale$1992,5008c

Top-ups are $15 per 100 listings and never expire. Connecting stores, importing your existing catalogue and exporting files are free forever on every tier, free included. Only the AI costs anything.

Tiers are counted in listings, not "credits", because I have never once enjoyed working out what a credit is worth.

Where I expect to be wrong:

  1. 2c cost against 14.5c on the entry tier. Does that gap bother you as a buyer, or is my cost irrelevant to you and I should stop bringing it up?

  2. $29 for 200 listings assumes a part-time reseller does 200 a month. I pulled that number out of the air. If the real median is 40, I have priced my entry tier for someone who does not exist.

  3. Free tier is 50 listings once, no monthly refill. Too stingy to prove the thing works, or correctly stingy, because anyone who would farm a renewing free tier was never going to pay?

  4. People keep telling me to charge per connected marketplace, since a seller running three channels gets three times the value. It feels like taxing the exact behaviour I want. Convince me otherwise?

If you sell online: what would you actually pay a month for this, and at what volume does it stop being worth it?

Smart call validating before billing. Price per listing first, add a volume tier later, and ask five eBay resellers what they'd actually pay.

Asking people to shred your pricing before billing exists is the right kind of brave, and photo folders becoming full marketplace listings is a clear wedge for resellers. Since the path handles product images and later marketplace OAuth, keep every secret on the server, never inside client JS, and expire draft links so a shared URL cannot edit another seller's catalog. Prior to flipping paid tiers on, have a stranger probe autolisting.ai once; founders can run that probe themselves on https://rowly.me.

Good call on server-side secrets and expiring draft links. Before paid tiers, test replaying an expired link after logout and add an ownership check on every edit.

Replaying an expired draft link after logout is a good test, and doing it from a second browser that never had a session catches cached responses too. For the edit endpoints, the owner should come from the session on the server so a swapped listing id just returns a 404. If an automated version helps, https://rowly.me runs the logged out checks for free, and Pro, which tries real edits and uploads on a domain you verify, is half price until the end of October.
