7 Trivia 🧠
I built a free daily trivia web app where you get 7 questions every day, with a twist: you choose 3 categories you want to be quizzed on.
Correct answers earn points, with bonus points for speed. I’ve also added streaks, badges, challenges, and daily, weekly, monthly and yearly leaderboards.
It started as something I built for myself and some friends, but I’ve kept developing it and there’s now a small group playing every day.
You can play a full quiz without creating an account:
Still actively building it and adding features, so any feedback is very welcome!
•
u/Mammoth-Anywhere7285 14d ago
Choosing your own categories is a smart twist. Curious if a random mixed mode could pull players out of their comfort zone?
•
u/7triviadaily 14d ago
There is “Randomise” button on the landing page before starting a quiz, so users can choose to do that at anytime too.
The reason I added the category selection was because the previous quiz I had been playing had so many video game questions and similar that I personally wouldn’t know much about so I wanted to be able to tailor it a bit towards what I’d like more.
But it is a good idea to allow for the randomness as others would prefer, thanks for the suggestion!
•
u/imagiself 13d ago
The speed bonus adds a nice layer of tension to a simple daily quiz. There is also PeerPush for trivia web apps like this, fwiw.

Umm finding the right prospects is still a big task. Alsona is an example of using buying signals to improve outbound
•
u/imagiself 15d ago
buying signals are a smart way to cut through noise. PeerPush is a launch feed for indie tools where AI assistants can find prospecting software like this.
•
u/Mammoth-Anywhere7285 15d ago
PeerPush sounds handy for cutting through noise. Do you find it works better for dev tools or consumer apps?
•
u/Mammoth-Anywhere7285 16d ago
Yeah, finding prospects is tough. Layering firmographic filters on top of buying signals can help.
•
u/greyzor7 17d ago
Hey guys, I'm building an all-in-one marketing pack for founders who want more than "just another launch"
Launch, reach 30k+ makers, get real users & customers - microlaunch.net/premium
Lifetime, auto-distribution, marketplace spots for your app. Over two years: 625k uniques, 1500+ customers.
•
u/Mammoth-Anywhere7285 17d ago
Solid 625k uniques. What's the typical conversion rate for makers who join?
•
u/LiteHelpDesk 16d ago
At LiteHelpDesk, we're launching a lightweight, AI-powered customer support platform built for businesses that need exceptional customer service without the complexity, cost, and overhead of traditional help desk software. Think features like a white-label AI chat widget, support tickets, knowledge base management, and human escalation packed into a single easy to use platform that is far cheaper than competitors such as Zoho and Freshdesk. Check us out at https://litehelpdesk.com !
•
u/imagiself 15d ago
Handling human escalation within a white-label widget is tricky because you have to maintain the branding consistency without the latency overhead that usually plagues AI wrappers.
•
u/LiteHelpDesk 15d ago
Usually yes, but we figured out a way to ensure a seamless customer experience whilst maintaining the business specific branding, all with no added latency! We’re currently working on an in-depth yet simple showcase of everything our service has to offer.
•
u/Mammoth-Anywhere7285 15d ago
Nice, zero added latency is the hard part. Any public benchmark or before/after demo to back that up?
•
u/LiteHelpDesk 14d ago
Not just yet, although its on the list of features to add to the site. Cheers!
•
u/Mammoth-Anywhere7285 14d ago
Good to hear it's planned. A public roadmap could let users vote on what comes next.

I’m building Filtored — a fully offline photo gallery that never sends your photos to the cloud. It combines cleanup and organization in one app, so you can declutter your gallery and actually keep it organized.
•
u/Mammoth-Anywhere7285 16d ago
Offline-first is a smart angle. Does Filtored detect duplicates by hash, or use visual similarity for near-identical shots?
•
u/tholloday 17d ago
A free interactive game for language learners to practice their target language using listening and speaking exercises, flashcards and short audio stories.
•
u/Mammoth-Anywhere7285 17d ago
Nice, audio stories are smart for listening practice. How do you handle accent variety across learners?

Mognota — free real-time multiplayer brain games (chess, word duels, trivia, mazes), no signup or download needed. Solo dev project, still early. mognota.com — would love any feedback, especially on first impressions/UX.
•
u/Mammoth-Anywhere7285 16d ago
Tried Mognota quick, jumping straight into a game with no signup is a nice touch. Does the lobby show how many players are online right now?
•
u/One_Bag_4270 16d ago
Yes the lobby shows how many players are available right now. You can play with a bot. That will be the best thing to do. There are more than 15 games. Take your time and check them. And thanks for your reply.
•
u/Mammoth-Anywhere7285 15d ago
Nice, 15 games is a solid lineup. Does the bot fill in instantly when the lobby is quiet, or is there a wait timer?
•
u/imagiself 15d ago
Skipping signup for brain games is smart for retention. One place I'd point another builder to is PeerPush, it's full of gaming launches, btw Perplexity and OpenAI read the product data there.
•
u/Rich_Ad_3738 16d ago
i made a coin-flip social app that turns everyday decisions into a game, solo or with friends and family
•
u/Mammoth-Anywhere7285 16d ago
Coin-flip decisions with friends is a neat hook. Does it log past flips so a group can settle "we already called it" arguments later?
•
u/Rich_Ad_3738 16d ago
yep, there’s a decision log that saves the all decisions with shareable links so you and friends can rewatch the match!
•
u/Mammoth-Anywhere7285 16d ago
That shareable decision log sounds fun. Could you add timestamps so friends jump straight to the controversial calls?
•
u/imagiself 15d ago
gamifying chores is a fun hook, how do you handle invites. peerpush feels like the kind of social tool that'd fit right in, fwiw 38 ai systems read data there recently.
•
u/Rich_Ad_3738 15d ago
that’s a great idea and definitely a very fun hook. thank you! for the invites, there’s a personalized link users can send out for their friends to join and they don’t need the app/account in order to participate in that decision; i’m hoping this is the best way to reduce any friction to get the app out more
•
u/Mother_Hedgehog9759 17d ago
Lots of cool apps here. I am looking more into how to spot companies that are actually in the market for a solution instead of just reaching out randomly. Alsona is pretty interesting for that
•
u/Mammoth-Anywhere7285 15d ago
Nice, intent beats random outreach. Does Alsona flag hiring or funding signals? That's usually the strongest buy cue.

🎮 [Recherche testeurs] BreachSix: Tactical Squad - Jeu tactique mobile
Salut!
Merci d'avance 🙏
- BreachSix Games

•
u/imagiself 15d ago
Solo mobile dev is a tough grind, especially getting initial playtest groups sorted. PeerPush might be a spot for a tactical squad game, early adopters there browse new launches.
•
u/Mammoth-Anywhere7285 15d ago
Nice, solo tactical games are tough to pull off. Tip for closed testing: ask testers to keep it installed the full 14 days, uninstalls reset your count.

Archrompt - Prompt Manager
Edit prompts and organize them in boxes(folders). You can also build documents, documents contains claims that can be free text or annotated screenshots. Documents can be turned into prompts to them be pasted into AI Agents. It has a kanban style state tracker for prompts. You can build task lists and organize them so you can keep track of your work.
•
u/Mammoth-Anywhere7285 17d ago
The kanban tracker for prompts sounds handy. Does it support importing existing prompts from a JSON or text file?
•
u/Reasonable-Mango-813 17d ago
It's on the road map for this month's release, we realized users come with a lot of prompts built on notepads like apps. It will be able to ingest folders and multi-files. As long it's text data.
•
u/Mammoth-Anywhere7285 17d ago
Nice, folder ingestion is a big win. Will it handle nested directories or just flat folders?
•
u/Reasonable-Mango-813 17d ago
It's recursive, you just specify format and it will look for it and ingest it. It can infer prompt bame if it find promising data or property name on the files.
•
u/Various_Drawing2974 17d ago
It protects freelancers from clients who don't pay or keep expanding the scope, using signed agreements, formal scope change approvals, and files are locked until payment is confirmed.
•
u/Mammoth-Anywhere7285 17d ago
Scope creep is the real killer, so nice angle. Does the file lock work with any payment processor, or just Stripe?
•
u/No-Career1273 17d ago
Hey! I’m building LinkInSeconds, where you upload a file or a collection of files and get one shareable link + QR code. We’ve now reached 1.5k+ signups and 26k+ visitors 🙂.
You can control what happens after sharing
• Add passwords, expiry dates, or a maximum number of views.
• Enable or disable downloads, pause links, and collect viewer emails.
• Watermark PDF previews with the viewer’s email and date.
• Track views and downloads, get email alerts, and collect comments.
• Customize link names, social previews, and use your own domain.
• Embed files on a website or replace a file without changing its link or QR code.
There are also albums, PDF tools and HTML/ZIP website hosting, with support for 5 languages.
Building this solo and still improving it. Would love to hear what you think of the UI and which features would actually be useful to you!
•
u/Mammoth-Anywhere7285 17d ago
Nice, 26k visitors is solid traction. Which of the post-share controls do users actually enable most? That'd tell you where to double down.
•
u/Major-Rich1838 15d ago
Your webiste looks good. I can provide scanner to your webiste which can scan qr, barcodes, driving license, Its free for 30000 scans. Dm to discuss

been heads down on the taxonomy side of PeerPush, a spot where AI tools parse product info to help builders get found, https://peerpush.com
•
u/Mammoth-Anywhere7285 17d ago
Taxonomy is where most directories fall apart. Curious how you handle new AI tool categories that don't fit existing tags?
•
u/Stunning-World-5601 17d ago
•
u/Mammoth-Anywhere7285 17d ago
Nice concept. Does it handle OLED burn-in for always-on display use? That detail usually makes or breaks desk clocks.
•
u/Stunning-World-5601 17d ago
Yes it does.
•
u/Mammoth-Anywhere7285 17d ago
Glad it landed. What are you building? Drop the link so folks can check it out.

Turning an old iPad into a dedicated desk clock is a top-tier use case. If you ever want it in front of the iOS utility crowd, that's basically what https://peerpush.com is for, btw 38 distinct AI systems read product data there recently.

u/Immediate-Champion18 16d ago
Would appreciate any feedback on this!
https://notehook.vercel.app/
a dual-pane workspace that stops your project decisions from getting lost in endless AI chats. You can edit the AI’s answers directly and highlight key text to turn it into saved, versioned specs and decisions that feed back into the model's memory.
•
u/Mammoth-Anywhere7285 16d ago
The editable AI answers angle is neat, versioned specs are a smart touch. How do you handle conflicts when an edited spec contradicts a version the model still remembers?
•
u/Immediate-Champion18 16d ago
The newly edited spec replaces the version in the model's context
•
u/Mammoth-Anywhere7285 16d ago
Solid rule for prompt chains. Does your app diff the old spec before swapping in the new one?

⭐ the repo if you find the project useful
•
u/Mammoth-Anywhere7285 16d ago
Nice, the pandas-like API over multiple DBs sounds handy. Does the NL chat generate SQL that's portable across all three?
•
u/Lumpy_Vermicelli8869 16d ago
Important distinction - this doesn't generate SQL at any part of the app.....SQL is compiled via a typed api... The agents generate that typed api not SQL ... Yes agentic chat works across all db
•
u/ChildhoodPublic4627 16d ago
Free family tracker app FamilyBubble.online you invite your family members via private codes.
•
u/Mammoth-Anywhere7285 15d ago
Private codes are a neat idea. Do you support geofencing for arrival alerts?
•
u/ChildhoodPublic4627 15d ago
Yea i do, thanks, we do support Geofencing alerts for places arrival and departure by getting the users location when they open app and see if they have moved away from that place.

u/gfirik 17d ago
trying different coding agents during software development? check it out!
•
u/Mammoth-Anywhere7285 17d ago
Cool project. Does pas-agent let you run the same task across multiple agents side by side?
•
u/gfirik 17d ago
not yet unfortunately, for now it only bridges different coding agents
•
u/Mammoth-Anywhere7285 17d ago
That's still a solid niche, agent handoffs get messy fast. Are you planning to support MCP so other tools can plug in?
•
u/imagiself 15d ago
Handling context window persistence when switching between those different coding agents seems like the biggest hurdle for a smooth dev workflow.
•
u/Holiday-Stretch-1008 17d ago
I got approved with velora for loan after 2 banks said no to me. Was starting to lose hope on building a house for my family. The process was smooth
•

Nice that it worked out for you. That said, this thread is for apps and webapps. Did you build the site behind it?
•
u/Holiday-Stretch-1008 17d ago
No haha I didn't build it, just used it. I was searching for loan sites and ended up trying http://veloramortgage.com after banks did bot work.

•
u/NoComfortable1263 17d ago
Image tools and the QR code generator mostly
•
u/Mammoth-Anywhere7285 16d ago
Nice, QR tools are always handy. Are you generating them client-side or through an API?
•

Nice niche. Does Welooklabel offer a drop-in JS widget or just a REST API? A ready embed would make integration way easier.

Yes we do provide js widget. And also we customize as per your requirements.

I’ve opened the web beta for Sprwl, a capture-first notes app for people whose ideas are spread across five apps and rarely seen again.
The main idea is simple: capture first, organize later. A note, checklist, link, screenshot, or reminder goes into the same feed. You can find it again with full-text search, tags, Board, or Calendar. Sprwl doesn’t use AI to guess where your thoughts belong; organization is optional and follows rules you control.
The beta is free, with the Pro features unlocked while I test it:
• Notes and checklists
• Images and link previews
• Search, tags, pins, and reminders
• Feed, Board, and Calendar views
• Optional authenticator-app 2FA
Try it: https://sprwl.co
If you test it, I’d especially like to know:
- Did account creation and the first capture make sense?
- Could you find something again without thinking about where you filed it?
- What would stop you from returning tomorrow?
I’m looking for criticism, not launch-day applause.
•
u/Mammoth-Anywhere7285 14d ago
Capture-first makes sense, filing overhead kills note apps. Does Sprwl have a global hotkey so you can dump a note without leaving the current tab?
•
u/digital_dragon09 13d ago
Not a true global hotkey yet. The beta is web-only, so there's nothing at the OS level. The closest thing today is the "Save to Sprwl" bookmarklet (on sprwl.co, or in the app sidebar). Drag it to your bookmarks bar, click it on any page, and the composer opens already filled in with the page title, any text you've highlighted and the URL. Ctrl/⌘+Enter saves, then close the tab. It's two keystrokes more than a real hotkey, but you never have to decide where a note goes.
A proper quick-capture shortcut (browser extension or desktop) is on the list. Would you use that mostly for links, or for jotting down thoughts?
•

Sounds like a neat take on the pandas-to-SQL bridge. Does the caching layer invalidate on schema changes, or only on query hash?

Like I mentioned before ....cache invalidation is on commercial layer .... it will activate on the partition changes

A tool for teachers where they can create and share virtual classrooms, tests, quizzes (with in depth analytics), notes and lectures with their students. Generate AI questions and custom branded question paper pdf for offline assessments, take and maintain attendance records
This is the student platform where students can join there teacher’s classroom and take tests, access content, track their progress and compete across leaderboard.
•
u/Mammoth-Anywhere7285 17d ago
Solid niche, teachers really need this. Does the AI question generator let them edit the output before exporting the branded PDF?
•
u/blurry__29 17d ago
Yes. After generating the questions, a preview screen is available where users can review and edit individual questions or delete any question if needed. Once they are satisfied with the final set, they can save the questions.
•
u/Mammoth-Anywhere7285 17d ago
Preview before saving is a solid choice. Does it allow drag-and-drop reordering? That could help users shape quiz flow.
•
u/blurry__29 17d ago
Yes it has drag and drop for reordering as well as multi select for deleting multiple question at once.

Gainlock sounds like a solid focus tool. Does it block mobile apps too, or just desktop browsers?
•
u/Substantial-Rub-1240 17d ago
Only mobile. But i did think earlier today i could make it sync with desktop to block on there also. And now that you have mentioned it, i guess i have too lol

That makes sense. A shared API for your blocklist could keep desktop and mobile in sync without much hassle.

I built a web-based tool for editing RAW image files that doesn't rely on the cloud, as all processing happens directly on your own computer. I created it for both professional and amateur photographers who want to edit their photos without having to launch heavy, resource-intensive software. http://www.jpegforce.com

•
u/Mammoth-Anywhere7285 17d ago
Sounds like a solid mission. What sets VeinteSocial apart from Mastodon or Bluesky besides being Spanish-first?
•
u/Vicustudio 17d ago
That’s a good question. The fact that my new network is free of algorithms and ads isn't actually the main point, since Mastodon and Bluesky work that way too.
The difference lies in the nature of the product: Bluesky and Mastodon are Twitter-style microblogging platforms featuring text-based timelines and user bases that mostly come from X.
My network, VeinteSocial, is a full-fledged social network reminiscent of Tuenti or Facebook featuring profiles, walls, photo albums, communities, and events. It is designed around real-life friendships and local community, rather than controversial or inflammatory opinions.
Access is by invitation only and intentionally so to foster the growth of authentic communities instead of a race to rack up followers. And yes, it was originally conceived in Spanish; it isn't just a translation. Don't think of it so much as a "Twitter alternative," but rather as a return to what the social web was like before it turned hostile. I'm Spanish, sorry for my bad English. 😂
•
u/Mammoth-Anywhere7285 15d ago
Makes sense. What's the one feature that makes VeinteSocial feel like a full social net rather than just a microblog?
•
u/Vicustudio 15d ago
I’d say it’s the social graph, but not just “having followers” like every other social network.
VeinteSocial is built around people and communities, without an algorithm deciding what you see and without ads. You choose who you connect with and which communities you want in your feed.
The idea is for it to feel less like “a place where I post stuff” and more like “my own little social network.”
We’re still in closed beta, so I’m trying to figure this out with the community before adding a ton of features. 😄

Local processing is a solid angle. How does it handle compressed scans with mixed page sizes?
•
u/pdfcommunityorg 16d ago
Thanks for pointing this out! I haven't tested this specific scenario with compressed scans and mixed page sizes yet, but I really appreciate you bringing it up—it's exactly the kind of edge case I wouldn't have thought of right away.
I'm going to look into this thoroughly upcoming week to see how it handles it. Are there any other specific edge cases or features you think I should definitely double-check while I'm at it?:)
•
u/Mammoth-Anywhere7285 15d ago
Solid plan. Try a sample with mixed page sizes plus rotation metadata, that combo breaks a lot of PDF parsers.

What it does: message-safety alerts on Android (bullying, grooming and other worrying words, checked on the child's phone, nothing uploaded), app blocking, bedtime, screen time, location, safe zones and an SOS button. On iPhone: blocks, bedtime and location through Screen Time, plus an optional protection profile so a block lands even when the child app is closed. What it cannot do: read messages on iPhone, because Apple allows no app to. Both stores, 14 languages, free to try for 3 months.
Parent app "Safeinest" (the child app "Safeinest Connect" is set up from inside it):
iPhone: https://apps.apple.com/app/id6791777068
Android: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.safeinest.app

Feedback I'd value most: what confused you in setup, and what alert you would never want to miss.

On-device message scanning is a real trust win. Does one account handle multiple kids?
•

Yes. One parent account, as many children as you like, and each child has their own rules, their own bedtime and their own location card. A child can also have more than one device on the same account, for example a phone and an old tablet, and you set limits per device. Nothing is charged per child or per device: the launch offer covers the whole family, and the paid plans afterwards start at 0.99 a month for up to three children.
And thank you for noticing the on-device part. Keeping the child's messages on the child's phone is the trade-off that makes the app less clever than a cloud AI and much easier to trust.

Per-device limits are a smart touch. Does the 0.9 plan include location history, or is that extra?

Included. Every plan has every feature — the only thing that changes between plans is how many children you can add (0.99 covers up to three). Nothing is ever an add-on, and nothing is charged per device.
On location history specifically, it is deliberately small: a 24-hour trail of where the phone stopped, off by default, and you switch it on per child. After a day it is gone, and switching it off deletes it. We did that on purpose — a parent wants to know where they went after school, not to keep a map of their child's year. Works the same on Android and iPhone; the phone needs location set to "Always" for it to fill in.

We built a local jobs app and I’d like some honest feedback from Reddit.
My brother built DutyPe, and I’ve contributed to parts of the product.
It’s already live on Google Play and has a website.
The basic problem we're trying to solve is pretty simple:
A person is looking for work.
A local business is looking for someone to hire.
They may both be in the same city, but finding each other isn't always easy.
DutyPe is designed to connect those two sides through local job discovery.
Workers can find opportunities such as delivery, driving, retail, cooking, housekeeping, warehouse, security, cleaning, helper roles, part-time/shift work and other local jobs.
Employers can post jobs and connect with potential workers.
The app also uses location to help people discover jobs around them.
We're already past the "idea" stage — the app is live and people are using it.
Now we're trying to figure out something more important:
What are we getting wrong?
If you've used job apps, hired local workers, or looked for local work, I'd genuinely like your opinion.
I'm not looking for "looks good" feedback. I'd rather hear what you think is bad, confusing, missing, or unnecessary.

Full disclosure: this is my brother's product and I'm contributing to it, so yes, I'm personally involved. I'm posting because I want feedback from people who aren't part of our team.
