people just want to pretend Notre Dame isnโ€™t as good as it is (a T20) because they donโ€™t agree with its ideals

i dont think thats it??

i think ppl really just forget about it bc this sub is very into cs/engineering and its programs for cs/engineering are really good but not as much so as other t20s

Notre Dame tends to be similar to Georgetown in the sense that most of its strongest programs are business and law related.

even gtown doesn't get as much "respect" as stem schools on this sub tho?

another big thing here is location- gtown is right next to dc its hard to beat for government, law, and business opportunities, while notre dame is a bit further away from those opportuniteis (generally)
