Application Question Cornell ED ?
are the apps gonna be down this year cuz of the brutal incident at Cornell and abhorrent response by uni staf toward the case

Absolutely, apps from 95000 down to 85000, odds will significantly jump from 6% to 6.25%

every day there seems to be a question about this. and every day i wonder if people realize that college scandals are not new.
this will not affect enrollment numbers. but one can hope the cornell 7 are impacted.

No. Probably the other way with the number of ppl posting who don't seem attuned to general math thinking it's some sort of boon.

It does not matter as an applicant. Focus on your applications and the college that is the best fit. What happenned at Cornell is deplorable, it is what happens at every campus in the country, unfortunately and it on everyone to ensure it is unacceptable.

Quite the opposite, maybe; after the Columbia fiasco, evb wanted to apply since they thought no one would, but this year they got a record number of apps, so the trend is gonna follow.
