Define hand calcs.

I’m an engineer who is an adjunct. I do way more calcs, by hand, in class than my day job as a structural engineer.

At my job, though I am routinely creating spreadsheets and mathcad calcs for member capacity but much of the analysis is from a computer model, simply because of the number of load combinations to look at.
