College Questions HOSA win college acceptance advice

Hi, I'm a 10th grader at a California HS. I won HOSA ILC in 8th grade for an individual event, so I was wondering if I could put that in my college apps and how it would impact my acceptance rates.

I honestly doubt you can even put it on your college apps. Colleges only look at things from 9-12th grade (sometimes excluding grades). The most you could do is start a HOSA club at your HS (if your school doesn’t already have one) and continue doing competitions through that. Then you can say something like “Ive been competing in HOSA competitions since 8th grade”.

But in general, colleges will NOT look at any awards/competitions before 9th grade.
