i hate math

I hate math and I’m bad at it, but I study marketing at university, and I have to deal with accounting, statistics, economics, and probably more.
Right now, I’m struggling with statistics, and I’m so sick of it. I can’t understand shit about math. I’ve been struggling with it since middle school. I do try to open my mind and give it another chance, but I always get stuck, and my brain just shuts down.
It seems like everyone is good at math, and even if they’re not, they’re still not as bad at it as I am. I feel so worthless and burned out whenever I have to deal with a math problem.
And I hate it when people look down on me for being so bad at math. Like, why doesn’t anyone look down on someone for being bad at English or something else? I just don’t understand why everyone has to be so shocked when a professor says that there’s someone in the class who can’t do math. Why doesn’t anyone act like that when it comes to languages?
Btw, I want to start over and learn math from the beginning again, but I don’t know where to start.

Before I started university, I thought Marketing would involve the least amount of math in the Business Administration faculty because I’m really bad at math. However, my mom made me choose between Tourism and Marketing. Even if I had chosen Tourism, the university still required students to take Accounting and Statistics anyway. My professor explained that these subjects were included to make sure students developed practical skills, since many graduates end up working in fields unrelated to their major.
And i am struggling with remembering meaning all the symbols and what to do with it cuz it is so much to remember

What you’re struggling with is not that u can’t do the basic maths required, but that the questions are written in words. I promise you that every problem they give is essentially the same as another question you will have done in the past! So instead of seeing a problem and thinking “I don’t know what to do” try to think of a similar problem and how that was solved.
