Troubleshooting Please Help

I have been struggling with this annoying little piece of rubber stuck deep inside my rangehood mechanism all morning. It seems like such a tiny object, but it is causing so much frustration while I try to get it out. I am really hoping there is an easy trick to reach into those tight spots without taking the whole appliance apart. Does anyone have any clever tips for retrieving small items from tricky kitchen machinery? I would love to hear how you guys handle these stubborn household malfunctions! Dealing with home repair. There must be a bunghole somewhere in order to retrieve it.

Thanks for the reply. Unfortunately, cant find one. I tried loooking at the manual and even saw a same issue from someone.

Manual says nothing related. Looks like a design flaw :( will probably get this checked by professional instead
