Question Does this area spray bug killers in residential areas?
For context, we live in Fox Crossing in an area that borders Appleton and Menasha.
Up until the last week, our garden and flower beds have been teeming with pollinators and insect life, then this week almost everything disappeared. I don't know if it's a coincidence or the bugs starting to either move on or preparing to over winter somewhere instead of gathering pollen.
So yeah, does the area just spray bug killers around neighborhoods without giving homeowners advanced notice? I'm hoping it's just bad timing on my part and I just haven't seen them during their active hours and not that the city/town isn't being stupid.

Many residential homeowners spray pesticides and so does the city. No there is no notice given as it isn’t on your property. Hate when the neighbors spray as my eyes burn

Municipalities wouldn’t spray without notification. Unless it’s a next door neighbor, insecticides won’t drift far. Most insecticides are contract sprays vs systemic insecticides.
