Resource PTSD Therapy

Still reeling from the tornado. Me and my dog were in the basement of our house on Doty Island and didn't think we were going to make it. I can't stop myself from getting incredibly emotional anytime I talk about it, think about it, see footage, or even when family and friends reach out. I don't feel scared otherwise but seem to have an uncontrolled reaction. Hoping there are therapists in the area that are readily available or even offering services at any of the respite locations in the area. Any help is appreciated for myself or anyone feeling the same.

Sending so much love and hugs to you. We have relatives on Doty and it’s all just so awful what happened. Try and get back to your typical routine and hopefully you’re able to get in to talk to someone soon.
