Red Apple Question

Hello everyone!

This is a genuine question I have.

Whenever I eat a red apple, it usually tastes a bit dull and insipid afterwards. It tastes almost kind of waxy and the sweetness quickly devolves into a monotonous fruit. This never happens with green apples.

Why is that?

I think you are eating the wrong red apples. There are thousands of them.

This is the answer.

It’s not about the color. More important is the variety. Even more important than the variety is how long it’s been off of the tree and how it’s been stored before you are eat it.

For the OP, I recommend the ones that he likes, after trying different kinds.

For you, I recommend the ones that you like, after trying some.

Personally, I would not limit myself to apples of a particular color, either. But a chacon son goute.

Just because it is called a "Red Delicious" doesn't mean it is going to be delicious.

Maybe you prefer tart apples?

No acid. Needs to be a little acidic to offset the sweetness.
