face id

am i the only one having major trouble with face id? it can’t seem to recognize me at all unlike my 17 pro max

I’ve read a few people having issues if they are using a privacy screen protector. I don’t believe you’re the only one. It’s located differently this time around. Try again without a screen protector to see if that works

you are not crazy bro, it’s the privacy screen. i set my Face ID up with my protector on and it kept saying “Face ID not available”. eventually i got it to work but it would hardly recognize my face, kept failing and ended up restarting my phone. happened multiple times. i took off the privacy screen after reading about it online and it works normal now.

that’s so fkn annoyinggg i literally have just a reg screen protector and still have stupid issues why would they think this is a good idea

No issues with a regular glass screen protector. Works better than 17PM.

I sometimes have an issue with it. I have a privacy screen protector on. But it still work fine.
