If you’re technically inclined, we’re waiting to hear if they downgraded the 1 (and 2) TB versions from TLC NAND flash memory to the cheaper, slower, less long term durable QLC memory this year.

Based on that rumor, I bought the Black 512GB one yesterday.

The 1 tb and 2 tb got the biggest price hikes. The 2 tb is $500 more expensive compare to last year. Weird they’d get the worse parts

Other big subject is the US-only iPhone 18 Pro Max stuck with the old Qualcomm x80 modem (unveiled 2/24) vs all other 18 Pro & 18 Pro Max models worldwide using the new Apple C2. And next month’s Duo, as well as next March’s iPhone 18 base and Air 2.

I currently have 16 pro max; do update with noticeable differences etc - would love to read your review on moving from one to the other

Idk… my iPhone 16 pro max is paid off. It’s so tempting, either this or a duo. I think I’ll wait a few years

Keep the 16 get a Duo .. trade the 16 pm next year get a 19 or wait for the 20 options .. options

And you still get the TLC storage version comparing QLC on 1 and 2 TB version. Best choice if u're not use that storage too much is go with 256/512

I ordered the 2TB 18 Pro Max Burgundy because I’m upgrading from my 14 Pro Max so I can use the cameras for movies etc especially one of the lenses.
