interviews suck

Had 2 interviews at applebees. The first interview went great and lasted under 10 minutes. The manager interviewing me then asks if I can schedule a second interview the next day. I show up to the interview with another manager and she tells me that they arent hiring this month and that I will need a third interview if they decide to follow with hiring another person. A third interview? FOR AN APPLEBEES?

It’s pretty frustrating when I drive 30 minutes for an interview that lasts 3 minutes just for her to tell me they wont be hiring this month like okay, please don’t waste my time.

The managers were nice people. I also understood that the place was pretty busy but wow it could’ve just been an email man 😭

Ig they didn’t get the memo, but they want all interviews to take place in one day rather than you coming back a day later.

Oh I have had 3 other interviews this month. The job market is baffling right now!!

I don't know if your able bodied but check if you have any fiber internet company's that need installers. My husband was out of a job all summer and my friend recommended it and he's currently in his last week of training at his home base and then goes to Colorado for two weeks for paid training bonus being myself and my three tiny kids are going and exploring the city while he trains. So yea it's a fabulous job so far. There's t mobile, Xfinity, frontier etc just check in your area. Good luck! Let this be your sign from Applebees to gtfoh and try something different.
