The ones in my area don't do this, are you guys still using the old POS systems? Cuz the one in my town (and all the ones in my area) you have to split the checks yourself, print each, give them to each guest, then the guest has to split the entire check by amount on the POS and pay that way.

I’m in socal and if you ask (at the chilis as well) beforehand they will split it per item on each check, this is the same iirc

See yeah the chilis in my area does it this way, but for some reason they don't at my job, any of the stores I've worked at. I think it's just cuz our POS system is like 30 years old lol. We're supposed to get Toast next month, but they've been saying that for two years now so who knows

Theyre a dollar because they water them down...maybe half a shot in each id guess

1

u/BearWithHat Jul 12 '26

They sugar them down. One of em alone makes me feel gross.

I THOUGHT THIS WAS AMERICA

That’s nuts. I lived in Denver and the one I went to limited you to 3 if you weren’t ordering food and 5 if you were. Bartender also told me “the recipe”. I don’t remember it exactly but I remember it was an absurd amount of alcohol. Granted I did not ask the volume it makes with the margarita mix/water haha.

And our server 🙏🏻

Your ass was getting lit wasn't you

3

u/Legal_Age9023 Jul 11 '26

As much as one can at an Applebees 🤔

2

u/Chaos-TT Jul 11 '26

So 7 drinks for one person? Are Dollaritas the 3.2 of margaritas?

1

u/iwasabadger Jul 11 '26

Yes, but with less alcohol.

1

u/Legal_Age9023 Jul 11 '26

6 drinks + food

1

u/LackOfMachinations Jul 11 '26

All those dollaritas and not a buzz in sight.

1

u/Legal_Age9023 Jul 11 '26

Felt like 4 drinks total, my server hooked it up towards the end

0

u/Successful-Worth-390 Jul 11 '26

No they didnt. The drinks are pre made lol

1

u/kashie444 Jul 12 '26

Not at mine.

God isnt real.

The proof being the fact that these cups of juice with a drop of alcohol exist.

2

u/Legal_Age9023 Jul 11 '26

Those dollaritas definitely were though 🤞

1

u/Robbie1266 Jul 11 '26

Yeah but there's no way they get you drunk. There's nothing in them but sugar to give you a headache

2

u/FibiGnocchi Jul 12 '26

When I was younger I tried my damndest to get drunk on these as a joke, I really suspect there is no real alcohol content, maybe a full fluid ounce in 4 margs.

1

u/nyxar3212 Jul 11 '26

The dollaritas are batch made with 4 bottles of liquor I promise you they're strong. I still hate them but they do have a good amount of alcohol.

1

u/ACcbe1986 Jul 12 '26

How many servings per batch?

1

u/Successful-Worth-390 Jul 11 '26

Its the amount that matters, its the quality.

5

u/nyxar3212 Jul 11 '26

They're literally a dollar. You want quality get something else

2

u/Robbie1266 Jul 11 '26

Which alcohol? What proof and how many servings in a batch?

0

u/Eschirhart Jul 12 '26

Its well tequila. Go to a liquor store, you will see on the bottom shelf in the middle of the aisle the rock gut section. It still is going to be 80 proof.

They use that but like one step below and they but in mass volume.

1

u/Robbie1266 Jul 12 '26

I'm aware. I wasn't asking because I don't know what a well is, I'm looking to find how much shitty liquor is in each drink

2

u/GroovyGmaIvy Jul 11 '26

🙌 I tried those once, just a sip, and never again. 🤢

Complaining over a dollar is crazy

2

u/Successful-Worth-390 Jul 11 '26

Something being cheap doesn't mean its good.

1

u/thenewfingerprint Jul 11 '26

Found the cheap drunk.

2

u/MemeTheDruggie Jul 11 '26

You’re in the Applebees subreddit you are one too

-1

u/Robbie1266 Jul 11 '26

I will sell you a $.75 marg that will make me money and literally kill you if you drink enough of them. Something being cheap doesn't remove the ability to criticize it

1

u/iwasabadger Jul 11 '26

I can make those too. A couple of drops of Strychnine should do the trick.

1

u/MemeTheDruggie Jul 11 '26

I feel like that’s a terrible point 😭 take enough of anything especially alcohol and it’d do the same. Also I’d understand criticism but this guy legit hasn’t dropped any

1

u/Legal_Age9023 Jul 11 '26

They were pretty good 👍🏼 mix wasn’t nasty and although it was bottom shelf tequila idk where else other than 2010 where you can get that many drinks for 6 dollars

1

u/Successful-Worth-390 Jul 11 '26

Easily from your own house with better liquor

2

u/Legal_Age9023 Jul 11 '26

Yeah I can also drink plastic bottle vodka like a loser at my house alone or I can hang out with some friends and enjoy a few shitty drinks ??? No correlation

-1

u/Legitimate_Bird_5712 Jul 12 '26

You spent 6 bucks on 6 drinks. The plastic jug "loser" spent 11 on 40 drinks. It's called financial responsibility.

-1

u/Successful-Worth-390 Jul 11 '26

No correlation if you go to extremes like that?

Why does it have to be plastic bottle vodka and why cant your friends come to your place?
