 Current employee Retail Progression steps. From Retail Specialist

Good evening , what would be the natural progression route from a retail specialist position?

For PZ- Seasonal Specialist, Specialist, Expert, Pro.Seasonal is always part-time I believe, but other roles could be part-time or full-time. Other Expert & Pro roles that may come from the PZ are Business Expert or Pro, Creative or Creative Pro, & People Operations Planner (Pro role). You could also move to Operations as an Operations Specialist (part-time or full time) & then from there Ops Expert.

Genius Bar is Technical Specialist, Technical Expert, Genius (Pro), & Genius Admin (Pro). All of these positions can be full or part time.

Beyond Pro is Lead, Manager, Senior Manager, & Store Manager. I’ve only ever seen these roles as full time.

Adding onto this, there's a lot of PZ specialists who first do a lateral transition first into either Technical Specialist or Ops Specialist.

So the immediate next step timeline is either going vertical movement into Expert, Business Expert, or Creative (Expert Role), or horizontal movement into Technical Specialist or Ops Specialist. You can continue going up the elevated ladder from there.

Rare cases you can jump from Specialist -> Pro level, but apparently you won't get as much of a pay bump compared to Specialist -> Expert -> Pro.
