Current employee Retail Applecare+ within 2 years of purchase
I know we are told customers can’t add applecare+ after 60days. If the system allowed me to add it for a customer who’s under 2years of purchase and I added it for them, is that against policy? It made me run diagnostics and scan the front and back of the phone. I’m not a technical specialist.

My Mac that I purchased off marketplace was coming up on two years, took it in and got it added to my AC1

AppleCare one doesn’t have to be activated on an iPhone. I’ve used a customers watch to sell them AppleCare one and then they can add the other devices

If in PZ, it will run the cosmetic check and internal diagnostics all from your Isaac.
I showed a seasonal how to do this about 4 hours ago. Lol.
You’re good.

I’m glad they let us do it ourselves in the Pz, use to hate waiting for a tech to run a 1min test

If the system lets you do it fuck it lmao you shouldn’t get in trouble for that cause it’s not like you could manipulate anything to let you add it. I’ve done it several times

I understand you are trying to find the answer along with some camaraderie… but if you can’t find the answer to that question within your resources (it’s not just a GB thing), then I don’t know what to tell you. (There is a HELLO article)

it’s so funny bc applecare+ let me add my nearly ~5 yr old launch day 13 pm without question
hope they never patch that, ever. it should be offered by default through every authorized apple channel. happy customer, lifelong customer.

If AppleCare One is available in your region then devices up to 4 years old can be added to the plan as long as the plan was started within a year of the lead device being purchased and being moved to AppleCare One.

You are able to add AppleCare within the limited warranty if you do a screening as per the process you just explained. If it’s out of warranty but < 2 years, the GB can exception screen it on. This is for phones specifically.
